I couldn't have put it better myself. :)
@Mendes4Lyfe, you're relatively new, but this guy has been a troll on the forums for years, returning over several duplicate accounts in the past to wreak his lunacy on us. I'd be surprised if he hasn't had at least 12 separate accounts, all banned.
I mean, I do remember back then everybody running their way to the cinemas every time a new Bond movie was being played and everybody saying that PB was the best Bond ever.
Me too. I lived through that era and became a fan a few years before the start of it. I can't explain it other than to say we like to knock down our icons after their era is over (and someone else is in their place). It's in fashion too and we seem to like keeping up with the Joneses in that respect when it comes to Pierce Brosnan.
Or maybe it was the enthusiasm everybody had because there was a 6-year hiatus.
I believe the two middle films (TND - TWINE) were very entertaining and still are and they have dated very well.
Yes, that too certainly helped, I've no doubt. Absence makes the heart grow fonder etc.
My personal favourites of his are GE and TWINE.
Yes, it certainly is. I'm not as fickle as most people, though.
Now that's pretty interesting and am I now happier?
I will recommend (for history buffs) on Amazon Prime;
The White Queen...only one season unfortunately. Is a good dramatization of the final years of the Wars of the Roses starting with the reign of Edward IV and ending with Henry Tudor(Henry VII) taking the crown. Good perfomances, love the costumes and the Ladies are smoking hot (some of them at least. )
@BondJasonBond006, introverts like us can't pretend to be anything else. I don't think it's in our nature, considering how much we'd need to recharge after playing an extrovert all the time; I know I couldn't-and wouldn't-want to do it. When I'm around extroverts it's like they're a bunch of Dementors, sucking from me all my life and energy. They are the enemy.
Sounds like me, a lot.
I am perfectly normal when around my four brothers-in-arms. I can talk and talk and talk, be funny and witty. I can let go and cry my heart out if needed.
One to one works outside my small circle of friends if I am attracted to someone. I never had difficulties picking up dates.
But other than that I'm a social mess. I can hardly put one decent proper sentence together. At a party with many strangers I will stand in a corner counting the dust particles on the shelves or whatever comes handy. There not even my army buddies can save me, unless we would go to a different room with no people.
I was at a New Year's Eve party as a matter of fact, it was not planned, but I dressed up and went there with my brothers-in-arms. I ended up counting crabs in the carpet, I'm just useless at such places.
Being at the keyboard is a whole different matter, I have realised here I can articulate myself and be talkative, funny and hopefully witty as well.
I can be passionate, emotional, analysing. I can discuss, argue, joke around.
I'm so glad I came here.
Sounds like Woody Allen.
Dr Noah...time for breathing.
FIFTY!!
And the music is as timeless and amazing as ever. Truly one of the best debut albums of any band. What a testament to their collective talents.
Which actually turned out to be the title of one of those renegade Canadian 007 short stories!
There is only one band/singer that deserve the terms amazing timeless genius!
