    That whole bit seemed off to me. He should have shouted "Ma voiture!" just like the German lady screamed "Hey dies ist mein auto!" in OP.

    The Soviet Security Council speaks English in the same film, so why not?

    An excellent point. They were 'Eastern' Soviet bloc anyway. Not one of the 'Western' good guys. It would have been nice to hear some French apart from Bond's toast with Monsieur Aubergine.

    Could anyone tell me which Bond actor is the most active on the convention scene? For some reason I'm guessing Lazenby.

    From what I've seen, @stag, it's a toss up between George and Roger. George has done and does do a lot of events, I know, while Roger does special events of his own, like his Evenings shows. I've heard great things from people who've gone to see them.

    I think that was (misguidedly) done for Allo Allo style comic effect. It failed miserably of course.

    It could be said as the driver had identified Bond as English, so he spoke in English ? ;)

    Perhaps its time we crack the seal on the political threads once more. Not much is happening lately.

    I have a few of those. My Northern Ireland Assembly election 2017 thread being the most recent. Feel free to contribute!

    It's quiet, so yes, let's bring out the poisonous political threads again. What could go wrong?

    Maybe if someone shoots D Trump we could open them again but I don't think is going to happen (let's hope not ) so it's best if they stay closed.

    Alright, I don't follow Star Wars, nor have I ever seen a single film in the series, so forgive me if I'm posting old news, but apparently Craig had a cameo as a storm trooper in The Force Awakens;

    I wonder if anyone else thinks the 'Boaty McBoatface' ROV submerisible would have been better called 'Wet Nelly'?

    Do you feel like Licence to Kill is a mid-90s film? I mean, the direction, the camera work and everything else feels like it. Very fresh even for today's standards. And Goldeneye feels like the opposite. A mid-80s film for the same reasons!

    Apparently, Maud Russell paid an entrance for Goldeneye, but Matthew Parker didn't mention her in his Goldeneye book. Any idea about this? (She appeared in Lycett's for example...)
