Think Ahead: Where Will You Be In Life When Skyfall Arrives?

edited January 2012 in General Discussion Posts: 5,745
For me, I'll have graduated high school and community college, with my high school diploma AND an Associates Degree in History.

I'll be either in, or in talks to be in one of the branches of the US Military, and I'll be applying to the spring semester of my colleges of choice.

What will be going on with you when Skyfall finally arrives?

    Good luck with your movie!

I think once I move on to a big university I'll minor in photo-journalism. In the future, if the money is there, I'll look into independent and short films.

not really sure... High School was 10 years ago for me, so I already have that achievement unlocked..

i'll hopefully be done with college - with an Associate Degree in Digital Media and Applied Sciences.. hopefully done writing 2 feature length films (fingers crossed that I can direct both of them)... hopefully working - but in my career field, and not at my current job...

one thing is for sure, is that i'll be 28 years old, and pretty sure i'll still be single - that much i do know lol.

Amen. I may be at odds with him for signing the NDAA bill, but he's done well considering all the slack he has had to deal with since he was elected. Bad time to be President, and people utilize it to put all the blame on Obamma. Classic.

I'm with you Echo. But I will be celebrating it in Japan (which, by the way, most of my Japanese friends are pro-Obama). I won't get Skyfall until maybe ... I can't stand it! ... January 2013. Geez, I hope it arrives in Dec. at least.

I'll have finally finished University and hopefully have a full time job! It's scary when you think about it.
  • some don't plan for the future, there's no sense in making arrangements or looking ahead sometimes when you never know what is around the next corner, we could be out tomorrow and get hit by a steamroller or something, you never know what is going to happen, some just concentrate on the present and get on with their lives, best way really. In any event just for the purposes here I'd ideally like to win the lotto and get married to some centerfold model and spend all day in a hammock on St Lucia drinking Bacardi and coke and not having a care in the world

    We live in hope

Yes, Newt is a narcissistic cuss, who has been married three times, once leaving his second wife when she had cancer for a younger woman, has been adulteress all his life, criticized Clinton for his affair while he himself was cheating on his wife one of the many times! He is a disgrace. Here is a link: http://www.huffingtonpost.com/2012/01/19/newt-gingrichs-marriage-marianne-gingrich-election-2012_n_1217087.html

Get informed on this man who is unequivocally a piece of garbage. Learn all his flaws and mistakes, and finally see what the conservative party doesn't ever see. He is unfit for office, and strictly catatonic. Ron Paul is the only decent nominee for the GOP. He cares about the people of the US, and not his damn annual pay or rank in the US government. Vote Obamma, or vote Ron Paul. Any other choice is absolute suicide.

    Excuse me, but please stop.

Not a place for politics, thank you.

Back on topic, I wish you all would be more serious, or at least more creative :P

I didn't necessarily mean location, but where will your life be, what will you be doing, and what will have happened.

Last time a bond film was released I was injured in iraq, (seriously, it was the same day QOS was released in the UK), but by the time skyfall is released I'll be married and I'll have moved to a new (bigger) flat, so things should be better this year :)

Excuse me? Thats a little unnecessary.

First of all, I'm only 17 so I've never voted or taken part in this nations politics before, because I couldn't. Second, this will be the first presidential election I will be capable of voting in, so it matters quite a bit to me. I've watched two of the Republican primary debates so far for that matter. I have my choice pretty much selected, so long as he is nominated. Yes, I'm not voting for Obama. Now, back on topic.

My point: This just isn't the place for a political discussion. To be honest, what doesn't matter to me is the opinion of others in American politics, thank you.

like @JWESTBROOK says, this thread is not for discussing politics.

Feel free to discuss anything and everything about the presidential election in a thread dedicated to it :) (I'm surprised there isn't one already?)
