    In a cinema. Watching Skyfall.

NOT location wise. As in your standing in life. A new job, new house, new partner, new kid, new car, anything but sarcastic geographical locations please.

Unless you get really creative ;)

    Excuse me, but please stop.

Not a place for politics, thank you.

Glad to see the future of the US matters to its citizens...

Excuse me? Thats a little unnecessary.

First of all, I'm only 17 so I've never voted or taken part in this nations politics before, because I couldn't. Second, this will be the first presidential election I will be capable of voting in, so it matters quite a bit to me. I've watched two of the Republican primary debates so far for that matter. I have my choice pretty much selected, so long as he is nominated. Yes, I'm not voting for Obama. Now, back on topic.

My point: This just isn't the place for a political discussion. To be honest, what doesn't matter to me is the opinion of others in American politics, thank you.

I must take the moment to apologize to @JWESTBROOK and everyone here on MI6 for my utter rudeness upon going off on such a decrepit tangent in a thread where it had no place.

Going back ON tangent, I'd say in a year:

I'll be finding my feet in college, and for now the plan is to major in art and minor in writing. I'll say goodbye to friends I've had nearly all my life, and some of which who are truly my best of friends who I wouldn't hesitate to take a bullet for. I'll say hi to new faces, and hopefully turn them into familiar faces. Graduating seems so melancholy and a resounding end of the road, but I hope I'll adjust eventually. With luck, I'll find a lass that is intelligent, attractive, funny, caring, sense of humor, loves to draw/write, loves films, loves Sherlock Holmes and James Bond, and is an honest girl I can trust with all my insecurities and secrets. That all got a little Hallmark there, but it's how I feel.

Oh, I'm sure. It is so strange. We bicker everyday about all our so called problems, when kids with autism or other mental disorders have such heavier struggles on their plate, and yet they are the kindest people you will run into. Truly, truly, commendable.
  • I liked the reply 'sitting in a theater watching Skyfall', well you can't argue with that

Said before it's all very well planning for the future but you never really know what is around the corner, anything can happen between now and end of year, it's a long way off and all. Touch wood I hope to be in decent health and comfortable with my life with not too many issues, I guess that goes for everybody present. The life on a paradise island still does appeal though. I guess we'll just continue to dream and see where it takes us

Presumably @JamesBond is pretty sure he won't be going up against Hugo Drax this autumn... ;)

In Germany, working as a researcher, and praying that the local cinemas release Skyfall in the original version! [-O< Why, oh why did I have to move into a country where they dub films!

Last time a bond film was released I was injured in iraq, (seriously, it was the same day QOS was released in the UK), but by the time skyfall is released I'll be married and I'll have moved to a new (bigger) flat, so things should be better this year :)

Every credit to you sir. Puts all our film complaints into true perspective!

    thanks mate

It would be great if I were in London! But I'll be here in Southern California (not complaining of course, but London for Bond23 is where it's at). You guys over there are lucky...we'll have to wait an extra two weeks to see the film!

Did you get my pm? Sorry, off topic, but I never look at my inbox either.
Hopefully I have set up my own small company again (I screwed it up last time after some years), my kids are sound and save and finances allow me to travel some more.
  • Oh yeah, I've been saving up to BASE jump of the eifel tower, hopefully I'll have done that by next year.

I'm sensing an undercurrent of sarcasm. Pardon my question, but can you actually do that?

No, it's not allowed :P Those who do it are arrested as soon as they touch solid ground.

@livingroyale may be pulling our legs, but think about it: He gets to have two great stories to tell and crosses two insane things off his bucket list: 1) Base jump off of the Eiffel tower, and 2) get arrested in Paris. Still jealous!

Nah I was joking, you can't do that, although I would love to (its on my list of things to do before I die ;) ). I have BASE jumped before though and hopefully I'll do some more soon.

@0BradyM0Bondfanatic I have been arrested in paris before, but thats a whole other story ;)
