2013 Schafer-Frohlich, Weingut Bockenauer Stromberg Riesling Grosses Gewachs, Germany.
Winery WG Stromberg-Zabergäu...located in Brackenheim, Württemberg Germany--just a short drive from Stuttgart or Heilbronn! (Cork for the sparkling wine. Screw cap label has the man dressed in a barrel. I guess that's truth in advertising.)
But seriously, it's unfair to label these bottles
as "worst drink" just because they're unfamiliar. Some are in fine company.
Now who DOESN'T want to try Thunderball Tonic Wine? It just sounds so right...
Good. You'll live better and longer.
And he strikes.....
Can be with a lot of drinks really ;-)
(Removes free radicals, by the way.)
It does, doesn't it.
At £18 for a litre, I'm sure I'm in for a quality drinking experience...
Absolutely! And if you forget about the Vesper recipe and just take the classic four cl gin with two cl medium vermouth you're in for an even better experience.
By the way it is my understanding that the gin at the time of CR was rather less concentrated than today's standard Gordon's than more. About 32% I gather.
I will try that - thanks!
I thought it was the other way round, and the percentage had dropped. Ah well - can't imagine Ian Fleming objecting to the use of stronger gin...
Delicato Family Vineyards. Napa Valley. Monterey. Lodi.
Titos Vodka. Pretty damn good.
Was going to add this as well, martini variation.
Of course there are cocktails sharing the name.
Bordiga premium gin rosa, raspberry purée, apricot and apple.
Yeah they are the main supplier for the company I work for so I get some free mini bottles every now and then. The mini bottles are cheap around $1-$2.
That's a splendid photo, too.
