From Quantum of Solace, Youtube clip 2:27 to 2:33 shows the Italian lady, a wooden tray lifted by a pulley, then the fallen tray with cherries and broken glass.

    https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=SHjJrTdCKMQ

Specifically 2:28 shows the tray as viewed from above right. There is a tall bottle on the tray, possibly unmarked.

And the fallen tray, broken glass, cherries. A round, gold label appears to be visible in the corner but I couldn't match it to vermouth, champagne, etc.

Maybe impossible to divine, but is there a likely (Italian) cocktail in mind here.

I looked up this one involving vermouth and cherries.

Same here. Old Jamaica is another good one, and there are some Asian ones that are great as well. I prefer the non-alcoholic, and in no way will I ever buy anything on plastic bottles. Plastic is the enemy of taste.

    Lovely.

Never seen the non-alcoholic one before. I sometimes buy the one with alcohol (black label instead of white).

Stone's Ginger Wine is a classic winter drink for me. A Whisky Mac is my Christmas Eve treat when everyone else has gone to bed.

God, I love ginger beer. And we don't have it where I live. One of the many discomforts here. When i'm in London, it's all I drink, apart from the ocasional pint of Guinness.

I visited a rum bar at the weekend and had my first Ti' Punch:

    https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Ti'_Punch

It was made with rum from Guadeloupe and it was very nice.

That sounds VERY good, @Agent_99. Did you make your own drink as Wikipedia mentions?
Ti' Punch ([tipɔ̃ʃ]; French: Petit Ponch) literally meaning "small punch," is a rum-based mixed drink that is especially popular in Martinique, Guadeloupe, Haiti, French Guiana and other French-speaking Caribbean islands. It is very similar to the daiquiri, which is usually identified with Cuba.

The drink is traditionally made with white rhum agricole, lime, and cane syrup. While aged rhum agricole can be used in place of white rhum agricole, other fruit flavors may be added on top of the lime, and sugar may be substituted for cane syrup, a Ti' Punch can only be made with rhum agricole.

I did not! Chacun prépare sa propre mort is a wonderful phrase, though - very Bond.
