Voting results for 50th anniversary Royal Mail stamps

Voting has closed in the poll to determine the top 10 fan favorite James Bond posters which will go on to represent the franchise in a special 50th Anniversary stamp set from Royal Mail in May 2012.

Shortly before the results were finalized, and in a surprising development to a lot of fans, not one single Sean Connery era poster was in the top 10. The news highlighted by MI6 sent more fans to vote and the results shifted dramatically in the final days.

Ultimately, all James Bond actors were represented by at least one poster.

The final results:

#9 Moonraker - 4.53%
#10 On Her Majesty's Secret Service - 4.51%

Royal Mail are marking the 50th anniversary of the James Bond series with a very special limited edition commemorative sheet, featuring ten iconic Bond movie poster labels alongside ten, first class, Union Flag stamps. The individually numbered, limited edition Commemorative Sheet celebrating 50 years of James Bond will be launched by Royal Mail on 1st May 2012.

All Bonds represented and in the end no real duds in there. A great result but I smell a rigged list... not that I'm complaining.

Absolutely rigged but again not complaining. They've obviously gone for all the most famous films like they should've done from the start.

Never give the general public the chance to decide things as they are by and large utter morons.

Personally I'd have OP over LALD but other than that it's not too bad.

Really pleased that all 6 actors will be featured in this celebration! It would have been a travesty if any of the actors was not represented! :D
