The car chase finale is phenomenal!
Yeah, Bourne is more human in this one.
Of course the bourne legacy is still the only jason bourne film i watched all the way through
I like it more as stand-alone movie.
The only real dud was the last one. Well made, but dramatically inert and had some strange character work.

I think Bourne's time has rather come and gone and I don't think they should be looking at another one.
Unlike the Bond stories, I think the Bourne continuation novels would be a nice way of continuing the series. The big misstep of the recent Greengrass-helmed entry was the way they twisted and turned and, dare I say, bent over backwards to manufacture a fresh reason for Bourne to go up against the agency again. It felt repetitive and contrived, and to me, a poor imitation of the trilogy's strengths. Many of the continuation novels brought fresh aspects, scenarios and new enemies for Bourne, however some of the characters in those books are already dead in the film timeline so that would have to be rejigged. There's room to play with the character, but they just need to make sure the plot is compelling.
On the other hand, Bourne is pretty defined in popular culture as an anti-government agent at this point - so going a new route could equally be received poorly.
I'd be interested in seeing a fresh name in the director's chair, at least.
Agreed mate! It's all in the editing why that sequence is so good. Probably why i love the QoS PTS so much!
The car sequence in Ultimatum is bloody good too..
Well, they were both done by 2nd unit director Dan Bradley, which is why they're so good!
'Ultimatum' has a good one too, but I love the way the car chase climax in 'Supremacy' just builds and builds, ( great score!) to the final crash, leaving Bourne literally exhausted!
Yep. It puts you right amongst the action!
