CS celebrated Bond day with a martini after his performance on Strictly Come Dancing...what a nice man. Miss him in any Bond film.
Wealthy James Bond fans fought each other for 11 pieces of movie and book history in an auction of 007 memorabilia.
A navy, wool Tom Ford suit worn by Daniel Craig in the new Skyfall film, which is out later this month, was estimated to sell for between £2,000 and £3,000, but fetched £46,850.
The complete works of Ian Fleming, the spy's creator, were expected to sell for between £10,000 and £15,000, but went for £91,250.
Many of the items were introduced by the 007 stars themselves, including Sir Roger Moore and Dame Judi Dench.
Dame Judi, who plays Bond's spymaster boss, M, introduced one of the most hotly contested lots of the night - Craig's blue trunks - with which he set temperatures rising in Casino Royale.
"All I'm going to tell you is they're unwashed," she said.
The size "L" navy and powder blue trunks by La Perla, labelled GrigioPerla and made in Italy, sold for £44,450.
James Bond's 2008 Aston Martin 6 Litre V12 DBS two-door coupe, which was driven by Craig in Quantum Of Solace, sold for £241,250.
Introducing the item comedian David Walliams joked the proceeds would to go to "the Roger Moore spray tan foundation".
Another highlight was the sale of a titanium Omega Seamaster Professional Planet Ocean watch, worn by Craig in Skyfall, for £157,250.
The orchestral score for the theme song Skyfall, signed on the cover by Adele and co-writer Paul Epworth, sold for £13,750.
The auction was organised to mark the 50th anniversary of the first Bond film, Dr. No. Proceeds from the sales went to various charities.

What did I say, either GE or CR.
I don't mind CR winning, but to be honest the fact that DAD is thought of as a favourite kind of takes away any credibility from this and also shows why CR was top: Facebook is full of kids/teenagers.
He did pretty well too from what i saw? When you got a dance partner like that though? I would wanna stay in as long as possible! Pardon the Roger Moore pun there! :))

I thought that was very funny, both of them were brilliant. I wonder who the UK (Daniel Craig, Judy Dench etc.) will get and on what chatshow they'll be on.
I have a feeling that Daniel Craig will turn up on Jonathan ross show soon. Just a feeling, as he normaly gets to chat with jonathan when a new bond film is out.
I'm hoping this is the case as well. It will be the best combination, I think anyway.
Reveals Skyfall plot.

Either way, Fields' wasn't too special to me. She was just a bean counter with good looks, and I wouldn't really campaign on having her back. She was merely there for a few seconds of Bond banter and to hop in the sheets with Craig.
Well we only saw a woman covered in oil on a bed. I doubt MI6 had time to run DNA etc by the time M spoke to Bond.. so they could bring her back. But it wouldn't be worth it.
What parts does it reveal? I don't have the mag.

A colleague showed that to me yesterday, I find it disgusting.
1) M’s house in the film is the former home of Bond composer John Barry. The film-makers thought it would be the perfect tribute to Barry, who died in 2011.
2) Daniel Craig’s tie had to be weighted for a motorbike chase in Istanbul that features in the movie. The weight kept the tie from flapping when he drove at high speeds.
3) Coca Cola was sprayed on the tarmac of the streets in Istanbul to keep the bikes from sliding.
4) 85 copies of Bond’s Tom Ford suit were made available to Daniel Craig for the opening sequence.
5) In order to film the Istanbul chase, the production team had to remove the existing tiles from a bazaar and replace them with rubber tiles just in case the stunt didn’t go as planned. Once the filming was finished, the original tiles were then put back in place.
6) Multiple British rally car champion Mark Higgins was Naomie Harris’s driving stunt double for wide-angle shots as her Land Rover weaves through traffic.
7) When it came to casting lead villain Silva’s mercenaries, director Sam Mendes wanted actors rather than stuntmen. In order to find some that could fit the physical bill, stunt coordinator Gary Powell set up a special training camp. Starting with 42 men, the group had to learn how throw and react to punches, hold guns and react to being shot. They were eventually narrowed down to the seven men who looked the most natural.
8) This is the sixth film in which the Aston Martin DB5 has featured. It first appeared in Goldfinger in 1964 and was subsequently seen in Thunderball, GoldenEye, Tomorrow Never Dies and Casino Royale.
9) Skyfall is the first film that ten-time Oscar-nominated cinematographer Roger Deakins has shot on a digital camera. “This camera has brought us to a point where digital is simply better,” he says of the Arri Alexa.
10) The cast went through 200,000 rounds of ammunition while undergoing weapons training.

And the award for world's largest link goes to..
Interesting article. Moore is just that much cooler.
Blame Yahoo. :P
I especially love the little facts at the end.
