The birth of sandman
And spider-man vs sandman during the armoured truck robbery.
Sony truly sucks. But like they say, executives always get promoted one level beyond their ability.

Marvel Wants A Fresh Start With 'Spider-Man' Without Andrew Garfield

Marvel's main plan is to bring the focus back as Spider-Man the superhero. Bringing the character back to his true roots: A teenager fighting to balance his dual life as a superhero - "issues that were brought to life well in the original 2004 Spider-Man 2 film"
And just like that, you have read all you need to know about why almost everyone who gives even the slightest of phucks about Spider Man would want him under the control of Marvel Studios. Not only are they taking direct inspiration from the best parts of the comics, they’re also doing it in a way which reflects the greatest Spider Man movie, which also happens to be arguably one of the best CBM of all time.
I assumed they knew the perfect angle to take for Spidey, but having it confirmed is so much sweeter. Everything is right, even down to skipping the origin
Garfield was the only good thing about the amazing Spider-Man series
He leaves I really no longer care.
Precisely. And Emma too, of course, but now they don't have her to rely on.

I have serious doubt that spiderman will make a full return to Marvel.
I feel like a deal will be made for marvel studio to have more creative control over Spiderman and even have a new version of spiderman be in the MCU.
And what's this about no more origin story.... You mean we won't see the death of Peter's uncle for a 4th time (counting Spider Man 1, the filler add-on in Spider Man 3, & Amazing Spider Man)? Heaven forbid.
In all seriousness, thank goodness for that. Give it to Marvel and be done with it. They know what they're doing unlike these fools at Sony.
Exactly. It shouldn't be forgotten that Sony made the films just to play keep away with Marvel, and not to do cinematic justice to Spider-Man. That goal was unfortunately low in their list, which ranked box office $$$, merchandise profits and opportunities to produce spin-offs far higher. I wonder if we'll ever reach an age when hired executives are actual fans who care about the integrity of their brand, instead of bean counting fools crunching numbers. Nah, who am I kidding? After all, that would make far too much logical sense.

Feige and Arad:
I really like Marvel's idea of starting off with Spiderman as Spiderman (without an origin story) and dealing with his struggles to balance the dual life. They know what they're doing, and if there's any justice, they'll get their hands on this franchise soon.

It makes me angry that Andrew is reportedly being thrown to the dogs and losing the role all because he was honest about #2's problems via Sony's script changes. TASM2 would have been leagues better without studio interference; Sony is the problem here, not him, and he shouldn't be punished because he was man enough to say what everyone else was thinking.
I agree I feel sad for Andrew.

(My sarcasm senses are tingling...) Dammit! And I was hoping for a Spider-Ham movie in the future! (And thus the sarcasm ends)

I want spider-man in the Marvel Cinematic Universe sooner than later. I don't want to be an old man telling my grand-kids one day you would never see Spider-man working with Iron Man in a movie.
I would rather Sony just hand him over all together; they had their chance.
As we are seeing? Sony really are making a mess of just about everything at the moment!
