Oh my goodness, Murdock, the one for YOLT actually does look scary! Ughhhh!

In my opinion, Blofeld does not have to be bald or fit 100% of Fleming's descriptions (oh, put your pitchforks away, people) ... but as Bond's supposed great nemesis, he or she does need to be, in my opinion, the following:

    ~ memorable
    ~ strong
    ~ evil
~ not played over the top

Yes, I think Blofeld could be a woman or a man because the prodcers/writers/director could go a very good Blofeld that is totally different from what we have come to expect. I am open to that, but most are probably not. Am I pushing for a woman? No, not at all. Does Blofeld need to be bald? No. But what I want, when Blofeld does come back into a Bond film - and they have the rights now, so it may happen in Bond 24 or in Bond 24, I am thinking - is for Blofeld to be played by a really good actor and be very memorable. Bardem as Silva is memorable and he did not play it over the top or underplay it too far. Telly Savalas was memorable. I want someone to play Blofeld who can ooze strength and evil and command power. If they bring Blofeld back, they had better make it a darn good Blofeld. But I am open to many different interpretations of Blofeld, as long as it is very well done. The script, as usual, is so very important, but so is casting. Bald or not bald? I couldn't care less about that aspect.

Someone said the third one looks like Jimmy Saville - England's most notorious paedophile. Now then, now then!

The YOLT image is the dead spit of Richard Kiel! :-)) That could be well confusing! ;)

And just bumping the wonderful hair thread so we can have photos and hair chat here again ... leaving Blofeld's hair alone, I'll restate my position on:

Hair: I want Dan's hair just a tad longer than in Skyfall (especially the sides)

Is it me or does Connery's hair look slightly ginger in Goldfinger?

It must be the hair gel. Or toupee gel. Or both.

I like Sean; this photo looks rather like a wax figure, though.
  • I think it's just the lighting in that picture, although his Goldfinger toupee is definitely the lightest out of all his hairpieces.

It was the dry tumbler that did it.

    Best for each actor :

    Connery : TB. Fine
Lazenby : his cut was quite special ; I personally dislike it.
    Moore : MR. Proper
    Dalton : TLD. Great
Brosnan : Most beautiful hairstyle in general IMO my favourite is still GE, that suited him perfectly. TWINE hairstyle is very beautiful too. TND's one less.
Craig : I have always disliked his hair. But by choosing one, then I'd go with QoS (except for desert scenes, if you see what I mean)

    and worst :

Connery : Dr No, too special.
    Lazenby : see above
Moore : TMWTGG, just ugly, for me
    Dalton : LTK. Definitely...Dracula !
    Brosnan : DAD. too grey
Craig : CR (too much hair gel), SF (too short)

    Bond 24 hair? :p

A great pic, but the hair there for Bond is too long for me.

That foto makes me think it could be cool if Craig wore his hair like Connery in DN, slicked straight back.

There's a lot of absolutely incredible ideas here regarding the ultimate hairstyle for Bond24, but how about when Bond goes deep undercover, perhaps he could rock a mean 'stache- not just because it hasn't been done since OP (you're a Toro too), but because Dan looks great with the lip foliage, very distinguished. Neatly trimmed and groomed, naturally.
