At least, according to the Sun. Haven't heard it anywhere else, but I suppose it might explain why he's spent so long in London when it was thought he'd be in Turkey by now. If true, it's quite the honour. And people say Bondmania is dead.

Maybe a coincidence. Most of the information checks out, and using Bond in his big 50 at the Olympics is brilliant PR.

    @X3MSonicX Oh I didn't see that

It's merely a premature poor attempt at humor for tomorrows April Fool day nonsense, and look at the tabloid involved, that tells you all you need to know on this issue

I would take this with a pinch of salt perhaps, the date tells you everything you need to know, the link played havoc with my PC so I won't look at it again but it seemed like Craig's head on the shoulders of someone else when I looked at it, meeting the Queen of Britain and all. I can't believe this is a genuine news article

Probably is an April Fools joke, but they published it a bit early. Had me excited for a second.

I thought that was just the Sun trying and failing to make a good photoshop joke, as they do.

Maybe they actually were trying to pass it off as legitimate hahaha.

Apparently the sun (or should that be Total Eclipse) 'news' paper ran a similar thing two years ago where they introduced the first 'flavored newspaper' where you could stick out your tongue and lick the pages and taste all these different flavors or something, so what we have here is simply another stupid asinine attempt at fooling some very simple people who actually bother to buy their piece of crap newspaper

This is a merely a load of..chicken litter

This might be a joke, but it's actually not a bad idea. Bond at the Olympics would be great.

I don't know what the Olympic flame's tour route in London is, but Craig running it past MI5 in a tux would be totally cool.

I don't think James Bond and the Olympic Games should ever meet, although I clearly remember some events featured in Casino Royale especially on Madagascar as Bond was flying around, jumping, vaulting, leaping, running and god knows what else

I think we had a whole decathlon in that sequence

Bond running past headquarters with a torch all dressed up is all very well for a charity event or in need of funds for sick children or Olympics even, but as Daniel Craig ONLY

It's not something I could sit comfortable with, if it ever was featured in a Bond movie, and you never know what they come up with sometimes

If they gave us an Invisible Car and going into outer space, than this idea would appear perfectly feasible..

In the back of my mind, there is some memory of DC/Queen from not long ago. I don't give it the "1st April joke" yet

He has meet Lizzie before, so this isn't a stretch.

If it were true, wow. But I'll wait until 27th July to make up my mind.

Like I said, maybe The Sun posted it today to make it look like a joke, but it is actually a real story. Don't stare at me like that! It's possible... :-??

It would be cool if it were true. But it is the sun, so I wouldn't count on it.

  • The same story, just about word for word, appeared on the Web site of Fox Sports, which, like the Sun, is part of News Corp.

Its not photoshopped. You can see Eva Green and Wilson. Its 06. Remember, her grandsons were there for the QOS preemier. Wonder if she will be back for the anniversary. She only attends 1 premier a year.
