At least good ol' England have the chance to qualify for international tournaments. Wouldn't go to a Norway-match if I got tickets for free. Lagerbäck might turn things around, but meh. Rather spend that money on a few Rosenborg matches.

Patrice Evra gets a 7 month ban for THAT kick .

He's what - 36 now? Wonder if we see him at that level of football again...

Twenty minutes in, and chances both ways. Sweden have looked really great so far. There will be goals in this match, by the look of it!

Verratti yellow card. Misses next match.

Great fan base counts for shit all son. Otherwise we wouldn't be an international laughing stock.

The ever irritating band managing to be crass enough to pipe up with the Great Escape. Tonight's not really the night for that. Unless we come back from 3 down.

Yeah, I'm torn between wanting Sweden or Italy to make it. Always lovely to see Italy play, but I also want our neighbors to go through to the World Cup.

Ive been flicking back and forth with the 2 matches so I didn't see him go off,but if I was you,he is so injury-prone I would dump him from your team ,Torg.

Oh man, that will be difficult! He's the only defender which delivers above his prize in Fantasy. Sure won't get some Arsenal defence in the team instead. It's enough having to endure goals against as a fan, haha!

Brilliant win by Sweden. Great to have that goal before the match at San Siro!

    Remarkably that wasn't absolutely terrible.

There were about three or four times we put some decent moves together and we had the two best chances.

Although you suspect they had about 5 more gears if necessary.

No sympathy for the idiotic Evra! Also another peaceful weekend free of club banter from the lads at work. Lol!

All ready for Denmark - Republic of Ireland. The Norway friendly against Macedonia was nothing to write about, so here's hoping Denmark can do better!

Oh my, Ireland sure have a lot of yellow cards in the starting eleven!

This is an open match ,it only takes one goal N.Ireland ,go for it...and if Chris Brunt scores outside the box in 90 mins I win £29 !!

The West Brom of the World Cup safely through. Will ploddingly get out of the group then go out in the last 16 as per.

Yes Switzerland couldn't finish their numerous chances but that's not Northern Ireland's problem. You can only beat what's in front of you and the bottom line is Switzerland couldn't without disgusting intervention from the ref.

How unjustified was that...hope that prick referee is happy.

Yup, they should. As an isolated match, this one tonight could be interesting.

Have real sympathy for N Ireland, robbed by the ref essentially.

San Siro crowd booing the Swedish national anthem. Going to be tense 90 minutes.

30 minutes in. Looks like this is going to be a match with many cards.

Could have been a penalty given just a few minutes ago(!), but not the clearest one.

...Or should it been given? Looking at some replays, it looks so!

Definate penalty all day long, the referee bottled it.

The crowd may react badly if Italy don't qualify
