The whole lip-reading thing has got a bit out of hand, hasn't it? Players and managers always covering their mouth when talking to each other, etc.

The notion that Chelsea staff would go to the effort of going full on Spooks to uncover Wenger's intricate tactical plan is utterly ludicrous frankly.

I do worry about Lacazette sometimes..Lehmann would be a good assistant manager,he wouldnt take any crap.

    We are creaking...........................not looking good.
Why is he playing Naitland-Miles as left back, its not fair on the kid,use Debouchy ffs.

Yeah, wouldn't be against Lehmann stepping into the assistant manager role! Looks like Naitland-Miles is stuck in the left-back role. As calm he is with the ball sometimes, I wonder if he could be used as an anchor in the midfield.

He IS a midfielder, that what is so annoying, its not doing his World Cup chances, slim as they are,any good.

I tell you,Iwobi couldnt make it into a pub team, which is where he was last week...

Haha, I was a bit surprised to see him starting after that! The greek guy, Mavropanos, is warming up with Sánchez, by the looks of it.

    That's a pen for me.

There doesn't have to be contact. He's had to hurdle the challenge so high it's knocked him off his stride.

Nah...the VAR is correct,he leaped over him,not enough contact...but damn damn close, its been given lately but compared to the old days, which hopefully VAR will bring back, its too soft, making it a non contact sport. .
They need to make a point of what is and is not a penalty, and to give that, even though its for my team, would have set up a precedent...a soft ,weak one in future.

It's enough if you are impeded whether or not there's contact. If that challenge isn't made he runs straight past him. The attacker has basicallly been penalised by trying to avoid the challenge. If he carries on running instead of trying to jump it he gets hacked down and the decision is clear.

He nearly always is now, even out of position..he needs to be given a good contract and tied down.

I hope he's not on an outgoing contract too?!!

    0-0 at half-time. I'll take that!

Judging by the first few minutes after the break, Arsenal might need help from the ref…

Wilshere done for tonight. Nothing long-term now, please!

This is where Coquelin might had been useful…

They caught it early i think,he will be ok .

Elneny always puts in a shift, but this is now looking like a backs to the wall job unless Wenger does something...like take IWOBI off !!!

0 - 0 would be a good result for Arsenal based on what I have seen in the second half.

I think it will be a miracle at the moment.

Sanchez would be on by now if he wasnt being sold.
