That's what ive been thinking too.
But then I guess that shows the desperation Arsenal fans have to get anyone but Arsene in coupled with the fact that the lack of ambition from the board and the decade of steady decline that means you are a hardly a big draw for a top tier manager.
I mean why would someone like Simeone even consider the Arsenal job when the Chelsea job is likely to come up in a few months?
I fear by their inaction for so many years Arsenal are going to wind up finding themselves stuck with shopping in Brendan/Eddie Howe bracket. Good managers to be fair but not blue chip.
Actually Sean Dyche is the man they need. A bloke who overachieves on a small budget and knows how to send out a team with bottle and a spine.
Yeah, that's something they should've looked at, but it's highly unlikely, isn't it?
Regarding, Dyche, is he a top six manager? I mean, he set's up a fighting team, capable of defending against most teams, but it's hardly the philosophy of the top six teams, is it? Then again, he could do a Mourinho, having some quality up top, as well.
Well not sure if he is but he is certainly an upgrade on what you've got now. Only 8 points off you with a tenth of the budget.
Now, that's true! The size of the club should make it an interesting job for some of the names mentioned recently. What the hell's going on inside the club, will on the other hand might scare a few names off.
With Chelsea (if Conte leaves) you at least know what you'd get. The chance of winning trophies, working with a good squad, and a two-four year time frame.

I agree with with him, but if they get Diego Simeone, which i doubt then wenger should go.
More of a chance that Simeone goes to Chelsea i would think.

We need to win the EL to stand any chance of anything,and there are some big teams still in it,including our next game vs AC Milan.

I thought he was well known for being super fast but he didn’t show it in the final. Perhaps he isn’t at full fitness.
I didn't think he was too quick either,which was concerning.
Must add that Aubameyang didn't get put in many crucial chances either. Arsenal were hardly far up in City's half. As mentioned on a podcast i listen to, Aubameyang doesn't necessarily always get involved in the play, but when he get those passes in which he can utilize his pace - it's then he's at his best.
That being said, I only have that podcast to refer to regarding Aubameyang. Don't know much about how he linked up with his teammates at Dortmund.

97 career goals with only approx half scored at what could be classed at a decent level. I can only assume the 'Lord' nickname is dripping with irony?
Heskey scored 40 more and he's referred to as a clogger rather than a deity.
He's hardly playing at the highest level as he is playing in Norway (this clip was from a friendly against Dinamo Brest earlier today, by the way), but he has again been included in the squad for the Denmark national team, which was one of his goals when joining Rosenborg. The other goals were winning the league, and (possibly) becoming top scorer of the league. All of which he's achieved. He is also in line to be included in the Danish World Cup squad if he keeps doing what he does at Rosenborg.
He's been doing well against international opposition for Rosenborg too, and any Rosenborg fan is happy to see him in the team.

My God, this Sp*rs-Rochdale match is a strange one. Penalty given long after the foul was given. Son then stops a bit mid run, before shooting the ball in the net, get's a yellow, and penalty disallowed!
And then Rochdale make it 1-1! And then this too has to be controlled by VAR…
…But goal is then confirmed!
I wonder if the Arsenal players are watching? Not to enjoy Spurs under the cosh but to watch Rochdale and get some tips on bottle and being up for it.
As an Arsenal fan, this sure is both enjoyable and difficult to watch so far!
