:)) So Cavani is Ancelotti's boyhood hero. And Ole likes the Championship.

0-1, Molde after 22 mins. I am not surprised. Arsenal have been horrible.

Edit: 1-1 just before the half-time whistle, from an own goal. Need to step things up in second half, because this was embarrassing from Arsenal.
    ____

A better second half saved Arsenal from a horrible result, with the game ending 4-1. Molde is probably their toughest opponent in the group, and I hope Arsenal will play a better game when they travel to Norway to face Molde again.

Yeah. And I think apart from Ceballos, Partey & Elneny might be the perfect Midfield Combo for Arsenal. They need to feature more if Arsenal are to progress this season.

Agree. I really like how Elneny has played since returning. Arsenal really need a work horse like him as an option in midfield, either alongside Xhaka, Partey or Ceballos.

Der Klassiker is a classicer 1-1 ht
Kimmich got a knee injury after trying to chop down haaland.
    Off and a yellow card.

2-3 now as I type this, and it looks like Bayern got this.

    …and it's 2-4. That's it then.

I heard about this earlier, utterly ridiculous decision by VAR.

They should have offside where the feet are placed not arm, elbow etc

Last time Southampton was top was 1988.

    Lookman missed penalty

I have a very strong opinion about this: The upper body should not count regarding offside decisions. Onluy the position of the feet should decide.

In almost all cases the attacking player is running in the direction towards goal meanwhile the defenders are running away from goal to set an offside trap. Naturally then, so many perfectly timed runs are judged to be offside simply because the attacking player's body is tilted forward. This is utterly ridiculous! With this rule players have to compensate and be at least half a meter onside to compensate for the fact that they have their body tilted towards goal. It is so utterly stupid! End of rant...

In the category of crazy refereeing decisions: Rosenborg are currently playing Viking in an away fixture. Early in the game Viking was awarded a penalty for this…

There's no VAR in the Norwegian Eliteserien, and there are times you wish there was!

Yeah. Officiating these days, is something else...maybe the pandemic has an effect on it.

Meanwhile, Arsenal are losing already 8->

Norwegian refs have always been bad, tbh!

Yes, Arsenal look terrible, and they do need a win tonight in order to keep up with the best…

Indeed. But it's the sort of game we've seen so many times in recent years, which Arsenal should win, but are unable to.

That's it. No creativity leading to the attack. Arteta needs a technical and highly creative midfielder. It explains why he wanted Aouar alongside Partey.

Indeed, but they were unlikely to land both players. You can only hope they are able to bring in Aouar or another player with similar qualities in January, but that's most likely too late. Also, the Lacazette, Willian, Aubameyang combo doesn't really work either…
