You see to be very confident. Where do you think it will finish in the BO rankings, @Samuel?
Another $4 million on Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday will give it the $10 million it needs.
It looks like it'll finish in third place.
The biggest Bond since Thunderball? Sounds good to me! :)
\:D/
$672.9 million worldwide (current standings)
$110.0 million China (prediction, China heavily featured in the film, fastest growing market)
$ 48.0 million Australia (prediction, very loyal to British stuff)
$ 6.0 million New Zealand (prediction, same as Australia)
$ 37.0 million Japan (prediction, less than 'M:I - GP' by the way)
+
TOTAL UNTIL THEN: $873.9 MILLION WORLDWIDE (PREDICTION)
at least $ 26.1 million all other nations in the world except China, Australia, New Zealand & Japan
+
TOTAL AT LEAST $ 900.0 MILLION WORLDWIDE (PREDICTION)
Yup, I saw it. Thanksgiving tomorrow. So a long weekend for all Americans. Making it almost certain that 'Skyfall' will pass the $200 million after this busy Thanksgiving weekend. Perhaps already after Saturday.
Also, with these predictions, the figures in China, Australia, Japan and New Zealand don't need to be as high as my previous predictions to pass the $900 million.
Interesting question hehe. Not sure, but as upcoming weekend (Australia, Thanksgiving in USA, New Zealand) will give us soaring figures. I think even that might happen. Beating 'Thunderball' might be too much to ask...
The product placement matter is never clear. In some ocasions producers and directors coment that is not possible to make a Bond flick without product placement incomes. Anyway, this movie is going to be a very important financial success.
By the way, 'Thunderball', the most succesful Bond movie ever was officially produced by Kevin McGlory (Brocolli & Saltzman were executive producers), so Barbara and Michael have a good chance of having produced the most succesful Brocolli movie ever, inflation adjusted :-).
Is that just the US monday total?
Ha, my sympathies are with you mate. Another great member on her, @Creasy47 is dragged by his girlfriend too, so maybe you two can swap stories after your viewings? :))

Can't believe you yanks would rather watch that vampire tripe.
Well done EON. You've got the success you deserved with this film.
