Oh I am ;)
I love Goldeneye, but the rest of Bronson era just doesn't live up to it.
The Brosnan movies knew how to have fun. SP tries, but after QOS and SF, it seems they've just plain forgotten how to make a fun Bond flick.
To quote Brosnan: "It's a lost art!"
3 months.
1) Why is M standing beside eight coffins if six officers were killed in the explosions (as reported by the news)?
2) How did Silva survive after he swallowed his cyanide pill? Did he actually lie about swallowing it?
I always give a little chuckle when Elliot Carver says "exactly!" in an unusually wheezy voice at the CMNG tower. Was it intended to sound like that? It sounds humourously off.
1. You're right, it just slipped my mind.
2. Heh, that's what I tried to explain my friend but he said it's impossibile.
It is possible to live after taking cyanide.
Nena Blofeld perhaps? ;)
Don't joke. That'll be P&W's next trick after stepbrothergate.
Yes, best not to give them any ideas but even at that it's still more convincing than what they came up with in Spectre with Blofeld being his half-brother.
As weak as it is, it's not an actual brother, not even a half brother. No blood relative. Like my mums best's friends daughter who calls my mum, Auntie.
I don't like the link with Bond and Blofeld, it was cheap and unrequired. I can overlook such things, to avoid going insane. It happens a lot in movies.
Sorry @Benny. You're quite right; I've not seen Spectre enough times yet!
I can just turn a blind eye to such BS writing. It's not wrong to oppose it, or certainly want better for Bond 25. I sure hope we get it.
Other people have mentioned this but that's missing the point somewhat. The nature of the relationship be it blood brothers, adopted brothers or just people that once spent a few weeks in the same ski lodge in the Alps is irrelevant; its the fact that there is a relationship at all that is objectionable.
And you're right Draggers - Nena Blofeld appearing would be less shit than this misguided idea that somehow Babs and MGW inexplicably signed off on.
I can turn a blind eye though. Drastically need new writing blood in the EON camp methinks.
Who's next? Let's keep this going!
Yes, I've been trying to find this as well. I tried Shazaming it, but got no results. Which leads me to believe that perhaps it was written for the film only. Anyone got ideas?
And no, before anyone says anything, I'm not referring to the instrumental version of "Only Myself To Blame".
