it looks good so Moonraker and On Her Majesties Secret Service... I'm guessing thunderball and the living daylights as well.

Let's hope for a trailer soon. Three more to go then. At this rate, they will be revealed towards the end of July, August and September.

I'm very surprised by this choice but it's most welcome. A big thumbs up to Activision for going with a lesser known film.

Maybe this means a Connery, Dalton and Brosnan film with finish the set? I still think Live And Let Die remains a likely choice though as many of the characters have been rendered.

yeah my guess is the end of july august and sepetember will be big reveals. I dunno about live and let die though it could replace a brosnan film as I dn't see any film besides Goldeneye being used as that was used already.....

The lesser known choices would be Thunderball or Diamonds Are Forever, one of the Dalton's and Die Another Day.

You never know, if this is a hit, Activision may release another game with six more films next year.

I would be surprised if they didn't go with DAD: pretty action-packed, and it's the only Brosnan-era Bond game we've yet to have.

I would absolutely love that! If so, we could be able to cover the whole series!

Only if next time they can get all the actors.

One thing is certain. Tim needs to finally get some time in the spotlight. Every time he gets chopped from Bond celebratory clips, montages in commercials, and games. If Laz gets to feature, Tim had better too. How cool would it be to play the PTS of TLD? Jumping in real time from the plane and steering yourself down into the testing zone? Or the fantastically action packed LTK climax?

But they can't, you know that, so why keep wishing for it to be true?

Well if they can't, I'd rather they just made up an original story and thought of new cool Bondanian moments, instead of using old films without the original actors as a cash in.

Next time we're inbetween Bond actors, they should make a videogame of TLD or LTK. Dalton is definetly forgotten, which is unfair, when you think about what he did with the character.

I wouldn't call adapting some films for the first time "a cash in". If anythig this is something that has long been wanted by fans, outside of new stories themselves.

i think a video games publisher who has lisenced a ip for making video games is attempting to cash in, a publisher who produces video games for a video games market is attempting to cash in. Danjac are attempting to cash in by allowing a game to be made.
It's prehaps a shame as someone stated on another board that OHMSS would make for an interesting hub level game akin to arkham asylum or deus ex. now we have a fps with a constant yellow arrow pointing us in the right direction.

I think TLD is a serious conteder to this game. It has the right elements. I mean, a mission when you run at the roofs in Tangier just seems like something that fits in a video game.

And there is the climactic fight/chase in Afghanistan.

Yes, and the ice chase in the Aston Martin. Damn, TLD should really make out a great game!

Yes, have the cello getaway, then the big Aston chase. It would be awesome to play!

I think most fans were long wanting for game adaptations featuring Dalton's, Moore's and Lazenby's likeness and voice. I think it's a great insult to these fans to finally make a Dalton game, like many here wanted, only to have the current Bond in the game. I know Craig is well-liked, but I would have said the same thing if Brosnan had replaced Dalton in a TLD game. When fans wanted an OHMSS game, they expected Lazenby, when they wanted a TLD game, they expected Dalton.

Yeah, and with OHMSS included. I would buy it easily!
  • With Piz Gloria, I personally think a lot of the snow-related action scenes in the rest of the Bond series is axed, because no gamer would want to play in the same environment twice. This removes all the ski chases we have left, and possibly even the car sequences in TLD and DAD.

Exactly. Plus the graphics aren't great by todays standards and it'll probably be another COD clone.

Activision need to make another gaming engine. Graphics aren't everything honestly, I don't mean to be pretentious, but they do factor. Activision's best looking game I've played is Blood Stone, but their CoD games looks horrid.

im tired of hearing the 'Cash in' cop out.... obviously they are out to make money - i don't see too many video game companies set out to not turn around a profit.......

but by definition, everything that gets produced to appeal to a strong following of people is a cash-in... which, is like 99% of everything made, so get over it.....

There's a big difference though. There are gaming companies that put out great product regardless of how much money they receive (insert Rockstar), while Activision will use cheap tactics like overpriced DLC of the same tired crap that they have on hold every time they remake CoD4, or I mean every year they release a game...
  • Wow. OHMSS in a video game! Never thought I'd see the day. Sweet.

Aye - and it looks awesome. Seriously thinking about getting this game now. So we have Moonraker, OHMSS and Skyfall - two left. Which'll it be?

I know all that. It's been said by you and others many times before. We may get that when there is no official James Bond and we're in between actors, so it's something to look forward to. Even if we do, it would just be another all-action From Russia With Love game. Look how that turned out.

Until then, I personally will settle for second best. On Her Majesty's Secret Service, as a game? That alone is something worth getting excited about.

Three left. There are six in total.

You mean the COD version of OHMSS, which will ruin this classic film ?

sorry but based on the MR trailer, the graphics are complete crap, they are going to ruin 5 movies by making the COD versions of them.... this game is the continuation of the brainwashing of young video gamers. When these same kids will watch OHMSS for the first time, they'll be hugely disappointed that Daniel Craig isn't in the film, and that the film isn't flat-out action for 2 hours. Activision is brainwashing the young generation in thinking Craig is the only James Bond, and that all the films are flat-out action like the the first 20 minutes of the QOS.

I doubt we'll ever get another version, so it's something no matter how bad. I'll take that over nothing. But that's just me. I understand what these adaptations will likely be like.
