Would it have been so hard to do a pic from every movie represented? And not had Sean Connery's PJs on the cover?
Another article claiming that Craig doesn't provide his own voice!
I like having Bond actors in the games though. Maybe you could either create a Bond, or choose any one of the film Bonds.
It's sad because there's so many great ideas for Bond games that'll never happen. Instead we'll just keep getting generic FPS after generic FPS, with the odd third person game.
Have some faith @thelivingroyale. It took Batman decades to find Rocksteady, but boy hasn't it been worth it? Bond will get back in the groove of things in the gaming world with the right team behind him.
FRWL- Generic third person action game that butchers the film, and even though it was awesome playing as Connery it felt wierd having old Connery voice coming from young Connery body.
GE Rogue Agent- The story was like a terrible fan fiction (there's a fan fiction story on this site that's a million times better), boring FPS gameplay (duel wield was cool though), nothing but a cheap cash in on the GE name.
Quantum Of Solace- Fun, but just a generic FPS, and it was stupid how they combined the CR and QOS stories. Why not just start of in CR?
Goldeneye Wii- Generic COD clone that makes a bunch of changes to the story for no reason that replaces Brosnan and a bunch of other cast members. GE N64 made changes to the film, but made up for it with some awesome gameplay. Like Rogue Agent, nothing but a cash in on the GE name.
Bloodstone- Fun, driving is awesome and Joss Stone does a great theme as well as looking hot, but the story is just meh, and the shooting is pretty generic. Driving was good but not as good as the EA games, but then I'm biased because I like the cars with gadgets.
Goldeneye Reloaded- It's the Wii version but with "MI6 ops" mode, which meakes it even more like COD.
Yes, it was stupid how they combined the stories and started in QOS, but if they hadn't done that, we'd have little to complain about. Sure, it's a generic FPS, but it was still fun, with great voice acting.
Actually, the reason was updating the story from 1995 to 2010, and it would have been incredibly stupid to keep the original cast. If you want the original cast, go watch the movie. The game's its own thing.
I like cars with gadgets, too, but playing one without gadgets was a relief. As far as the shooting being generic, it's been generic in gaming for the past seven years. Really, that was the last time a true innovation in gaming occurred.
Don't forget: there's almost never anyone playing online.
Also, oddly enough, I only have anything to say about the Activision games... That's weird.
lol
Did Not mentioned before. But for those unadvised, this is just a concept design of the cover. Nothing official. ;)
=D>
Unlike @marketto007's cover that looks professional and much much better than the official one! Well done, mate!
Amazing work, as always. How about one with the movies blended into the barrel, ala TLD.
You mean something like this? ;)
That is my favourite style for Bond relationed posters, pictures and covers. It's amazing how they are when finished.
Nice job.
These should be posted to Activision's 007 Legends Page
