I have been around here a while now, and have finally uploaded enough art both Bond related and otherwise onto my media sharing accounts that I'm able to begin compiling it all into one thread for my art. Most of it is computer created, using GIMP, or was hand drawn and uploaded into GIMP, inked, and colored. Recently I have had a lot of fun doing Blu-ray covers for Bond, and have started to do covers for other films. The objective of this thread is to showcase some stuff I have had fun making and getting some feedback from the members of MI6, and some who have been extremely helpful in the past. From each section (and remembering they are all very good), my personal favourites are:

Bluray cover: The Man With The Golden Gun

Novel: Goldfinger

Spoof: North by Northwest

Skyfall: 6th one from the top (qbcsb)

General Bond: The Sean Connery poster (Roger Moore one would be amazing)

Non-Bond: Sherlock Holmes Batman poster with the writing (though the chicken is great too)

@0BradyM0Bondfanatic7, loving all the work! Very, very great stuff. Some of those blu-ray covers, honestly, I wouldn't be shocked to see in the upcoming box set.

Could you do a blu-ray cover for Goldeneye when you get the chance? Something really unique, because the typical GE poster - the one hanging up on my wall here at home - is this one:

GE covers will definitely be coming. I've had a lot of ideas rooting in my head, so I'll be sure to make a few of them.

This and all future GE Blu-ray covers that I do will be dedicated to @Creasy47 and @00Beast, the biggest GE-lovers on MI6. This first is a little minimalist, but there will be more substantial covers in the future, I assure you. Cheers!

So minimalist and basic...and yet, touches upon Fleming-esque ideals and images (the font for 'goldeneye' is a great choice) but updates them for the modern age by using it in a modern Bond film.

As for the bungee jump silhouette...inspired and, though obvious, is done very well here.

No I am no art expert or media expert of anything like that, looking at your work, it's kind of a homage to and draws inspiration from Maurice Binder's work in the credit sequences of his Bond films and the work of Andy Worhol. Just my initial impression though.

I enjoy using a cartoon outline on the images and usually have the area inside the outline to be red. There is something very powerful in the combination on red, black, and white. I use gold for GF and GE covers, naturally, and like to add little whites and red in there to make it pop, as you'll see with my next GE cover. I had never seen covers like that and thought to do something new, instead of just copy and pasting images or posters onto a Blu-ray jpeg.

Oh, wow, @0BradyM0Bondfanatic7, if there was a way you could do prints or posters of these, I would instantly purchase one. That one is just absolutely simplistic, yet it touches on one of the most entertaining parts of the film - including a Guinness Book World Record - and manages to make an entertaining blu-ray cover, just from a single silhouette. Very beautiful work, and thank you for the nod in a previous comment.

I wish I could do prints, but if you give me the window size of your MacBook, which may be 1200x768 if I remember the window size of these correctly, then I'd be happy to make desktop wallpapers of the GE covers for you if you want. Thanks for the kind comments! ;)

Let me know how this is @Creasy. If you got to System Preferences and choose Desktop and Screensaver, choose Desktop, choose this image, and choose Fill to Screen in the screening options.

@0BradyM0Bondfanatic7, thank you so, so much. I just managed to 'Use Image as Desktop Picture' and it popped up perfectly. Going to have to save it for future use, if it ever does get changed. But for now, I'm keeping it there. Wonderful work.

That's great to hear! I'll have another up here sooner than later because the idea I had for a Blu-ray cover didn't fit so well on the actual cover jpeg. Cheers! ;)

That's quite creative. Using a well remembered image that sums up the film for many. It's the type of design that couldn't be repeated for other films either, so well thought through @0BradyM0Bondfanatic7.

It will come. The sad thing is that there isn't much in the way of images to make a cover, much my issue with making GE covers and wallpapers.

TMWTGG bluray cover has a similar iconic Bond image. Such moments are rare in a Bond film. They are all so good
