Say again, all most recent responses are incorrect. I tried to present the list as one, and had nothing but problems. Will get back to this at a more appropriate time. Thanks again to those who participated
I'm getting as irritated as some others with this now maybe - and I know who the damn character is ! Will get back to this soon

You can make multiple guesses, I think it's just that they don't want us flooding the board with one comment containing ten guesses.
Exactly. And considering Baltimore checks this about once a day, if you do have another guess you are confident in, you might as well post it in a separate comment.
That would meet the "Blondie" clue and possibly Stirs of Echo.

Was Miranda Frost incorrect? She is not included on this list.
I think he may be right. ;)
Martin Benson was half Russian and half Polish. so @Creasy47 may have gotten it.
Total guess on my part after going through some of the clues, so I'm not confident about the answer in the slightest. A few seemed to stick, but others totally didn't. It's funny how every single clue fits to one character, but nothing really stands out.
I don't mean to call you out on that, it's as good a try as any. Look at how many times I was confident I had it, only to be disappointed. The deceitful thing about these clues is that so many seem to fit for so many characters.
Those being -
Auric Goldfinger
Mister Solo (from the above title release)
Miranda Frost
It's unlikely I'll be participating on the MI6 forum pages again until at least Sunday at the earliest, so you have a little more time to think of that elusive name. Say again, the clue numbers to focus on, would be #9, #11, and possibly #35 and #47. Keep in mind that the 'other Bond' clue #11 relates to, is Sean Conney, but that's about all the assistance I can provide on this now. Only to add that the eventual name is relevant to every clue that has been presented and will endeavor to explain (when the time arises), albeit to a handful of queries and in an orderly fashion
