Campbell (On Her Majestys Secret Service) already guessed
EDIT: We're at something like 120. I say reveal at 150 then.
Yes I gave up last week!
I disagree. I think it is a lot more fun when its like this. No fun when someone guesses and gets it right straight away. Bring on the guesses!
You're not kidding. Steven Hawking couldn't make a correct guess with these clues!
It isn't fun any more for me. I did make one last guess. I am genuinely interested in knowing the character and having some or many of the clues explained.
At some point, if it is not guessed, Baltimore needs to call it a day - proclaim himself forever winner/champion - and let us know the character.
I've had plenty of guesses and I refuse to partake any further. This game is (or at least was) supposed to be fun which is why most of us give one decent clue at a time rather than a dozen of really ambiguous ones which leads in all sorts of directions other than towards the correct answer.
I looked at the last #50 clue character that Baltimore did and even after seeing the correct answer, I thought the clues were still pretty innocuous.
My next guess is Locque from FYEO.
:)
It was a schoolboy spelling error. But it does sum up this round perfectly!
I thought about him.
That's where you are wrong, and I don't appreciate the generalization. Quit if you want to, but don't claim that those like me who are still playing the game are just guessing without logical thought.
To quote Sherlock Holmes: "I never guess."
I just feel it is not fun any more. That is just my feeling on it. I like this thread but it has gone on too long for me. I am happy that you are still enjoying it. To each his own.
I would be lying if I said I have never gotten frustrated with this game, so I understand what you are saying. Heck, I have had some guesses where I laid out in complete confidence why I thought each character matched several of the clues in a large post, only to find that I guessed incorrectly. It can hurt, but the mystery-lover and Sherlock obsessive soul inside me likes this massive hunt for just one character out of hundreds in a film series now half a century old and 23 films long. The challenge is one I relish, and I don't want Baltimore to feed us the answer and ruin that great mystery.

Seems to be a certain degree of animosity manifesting on this now. Sorry to those who are getting frustrated - but a lot of time and effort has been put into this - and we're going to continue until that elusive answer has been found. What's the damn point in just giving away the answer, after we've come this far ? Did that once before after a mammoth round - and eventually I gave in to pressure. It will not occur this time
If you don't want to participate - then stay away- and let those valuable names remain, in search of the right answer. To those I say, I appreciate your interest in this
This has to go sooner or later - and it will - nothing lasts forever - so the detractors in question will have their way eventually.
To everyone else - keep at it - and good luck with your endeavors
