    Calling it a night in a few minutes so an opportunity here for any last responses before leaving. There's no obligation to participate, but only fair to give notice

    I'm thinking Rene Mathis in CR, on account of...

    He's not harmful but he eventually comes to some harm. 'Numbers' being important could be a reference to Le Chiffre. The point about someone else providing assistance could be a clue to "just because one is dead doesn't mean one can't be helpful". He misses the pinnacle of the day's entertainment because although he's at the card game he misses the fight with Obanno and his goon. And the double reference to 'in another Bond movie' could be that in QOS there is discussion with Mathis about what happened in CR.

    All clues relevant to the character as always - no funny business, blind alleys, or red herrings

    Clues only for that which appeared in the James Bond film release in question - nothing to do with other work from actor / actress

    OK I've spent way too much time on this already, but to be honest a lot of the clues are very vague and could apply to many different characters. Hope someone gets there soon.

    Sorry to hear one or two are losing interest - will endeavor to present less vague clues at a later date, although trying to keep things safe and not jeopardizing anything by way of giving away too much information - obviously I know who this is, and only trying to keep them protected you understand by not disclosing too much information, but watch this space for improved updates maybe
