Well obviously you could get it from clue #1 in any round if you interpret it correctly. That's the point of the game, to interpret them correctly to find out who the character is.

True, but my point is that now you know it's not Morse code, I believe there is only one character to whom those things could apply.

I know Clue #1 might refer to a cocktail as someone else established, but that's about it. I don't know, I've just about exhausted all ideas.

It might even refer to more than one thing.

No additional clues today but #1, #4, #5, #8 and #10 have all been modified to make them easier.

    1. Three dots... and a dash.

    2. Have you suffered an injury in the workplace in the last 10 years? You could be entitled to compensation!

    3. "WHAT... ARE YOU DOING?!!" (excuse my French!)

    4. Where on Earth is my body? Nowhere to be found on a map.

    5. I made the news in two different media.

    6. I don't care about the cause, just show me the money.

    7. Despite my death I am all OK, strangely.

    8. My replacement was very literally "hoisted by his own petard".

    9. What I'm carrying definitely wouldn't make it through customs...

10 ... yet I still cross an international border on foot.

    Mollaka?

All the clues fit so I'm hoping it's right this time. ;-)

    Mollaka?

All the clues fit so I'm hoping it's right this time. ;-)

    Finally! :) Well done Willy!

    Explanations:

    1. Three dots... and a dash.

Three dots is an ELLIPSIS. Mollaka does a fair bit of dashing.

    2. Have you suffered an injury in the workplace in the last 10 years? You could be entitled to compensation!

After Carter notes the scars on Mollaka's face, Bond ponders whether bomb-makers are insured against injury. "In the last 10 years" was also a clue to a recent film.

    3. "WHAT... ARE YOU DOING?!!" (excuse my French!)

One of the construction workers shouts "Qu est ce que vous faites?!" at Mollaka as he causes mayhem.

    4. Where on Earth is my body? Nowhere to be found on a map.

Mollaka dies inside the embassy of Nambutu, a fictional place.

    5. I made the news in at least two different forms.

Mollaka's death is on the TV news watched by Le Chiffre and in the newspaper headline tossed on the chair by M.

    6. I don't care about the cause, just show me the money.

M describes Mollaka as "not even a true believer, just a gun for hire"

    7. Despite my death I am all OK, strangely.

Don't you lot know to look for an anagram by now? :)

    8. My replacement was very literally "hoisted by his own petard".

Mollaka was originally meant to do the airport bombing job - he is replaced by Carlos, who is blown up by his own bomb (the literal meaning of being hoisted by one's own petard)

    9. What I'm carrying definitely wouldn't make it through customs...

    A bomb in his rucksack.

10 ... yet I still cross an international border on foot.

    He enters an embassy.

    Over to you, Willy!

Ok. I've got someone in mind. Not sure how many clues I can think of though.

    CLUES

    1. A letter away from laughter.

    Mr Kil?

He's a letter away from KILL and laughter is a letter away from SLAUGHTER.

    Zorin?

Also, great job, Willy. So many times I kept thinking about someone being destroyed by their own bomb, but all I could make it to was Dimitrios, NOT the man who actually was replaced. So close, but congratulations to you!

    Not Zorin either.

    CLUES:

    1. A letter away from laughter.

    2. I'm no Albert Einstein.

    INCORRECT RESPONSES:

    Elvis
    Mr Kil
    Mr Ling
    Dr Metz
    Dr Carl Mortner
    Pussfella
    Tee Hee
    Tracy

He's one letter away from pelvis, but if yours causes laughter then you might want to keep that to yourself ;-)

What about Tee Hee? This is me probably looking into the clues all wrong again like last round, though.

Not Tee Hee. It will get easier. I don't have a great many clues for this one.
