As @Birdleson pointed out earlier, the phrase is similar to lyrics taken from a Neil Diamond song called Cracklin Rosie from 1970.

Christmas colors. The red Mustang, the green Ford van and the green station wagon. Plus, DAF was released in December of 1971.

Across the street is the "Whyte House" aka the International Hotel and the Las Vegas Hilton.
The hotel is currently known as the Westgate. Elvis (the King of Rock and Roll) played there in the 70's and stayed at the top in the penthouse suite. Also, you could interpret this to be Blofeld as well.

This is the third time that Bond gets involved with a woman who drives a Mustang, albeit different models. Both Tilly and Fiona drove one and they were killed. This time the driver survives.
