Unique thinking, but not her. Also, Kananga has already been guessed.

1.) Were you expecting someone else?
    2.) Jealous? You should(n't) be.
    3.) Pay attention!
    4.) Seems someone knows something I don't...until I know something they don't.
5.) Ignoring or avoiding proper advice is never a good thing...
6.) ...but perhaps there was a reason for that.
7.) In answer to your question: absolutely not.
8.) Oh, just how wrong I was.
    9.) Unfortunately, I don't believe we will.
    10.) "...does it do anything?"
    11.) I bet you're reminded of Jaws.
12.) I'll be the greatest hide and seek champion there ever was.
13.) We could trade, but there may not even be a point.
14.) My early tryout for an Oscar winner. Did I get the part?
15.) I see you but I don't think you see me...
16.) ...and I'll keep it that way.
17.) Judging by this performance, would you think this was my first time?
18.) Sean Connery had something that would've really came in handy.
    19.) Incertitude can be deadly.
20.) Experiencing deja vu? You will.
    21.) I hate gadgets.
22.) You did your job, then neglected me.
23.) Looks like I'll do the complete opposite of what you told me.
24.) Maybe I'll become best pals with a particular Bond villain one day...someday!
25.) Wait, what did I do the last time, then?
26.) I thought I knew what was going to happen, until I joined the guessing game.
27.) Even if I took a bathroom break, would it have mattered?
28.) My attempts to assist aren't working, I'm assuming?
29.) This certainly wasn't as fun as they made it out to be...
30.) ...though I suppose I'm in a very elite class now.
31.) A Bond villain had heard of me before, though I never got to meet him.
32.) Guess I'm not writing a book, either.
33.) I may be a bit too ecstatic for what happens next.
34.) Was it shock or stupidity that put me in this situation?
35.) Suppose I wasn't alone in my despair...
36.) ...but I was the only one in a nightmare.
37.) Please don't cut me off when I'm trying to relay valuable information.
38.) The next time this happens, it's not going down the same way as it did with me.
    39.) Doomed from the start.
40.) I would've been better suited helping out 007, instead.
41.) My failure and your failure yield two different results...
42.) ...and yet you win and I don't.
    43.) Anyone else cold?

It's not her. Had to Google her; didn't know her name, but that's who I figured it was.

It's been a few days, so I've added three new clues.

Perhaps he will, because you've won the round. Congratulations are in order for @pachazo! Very well done, the correct answer is Chris, the American Astronaut - YOLT.

1.) Were you expecting someone else?
    - They don't know who is approaching from their rear; who else would be after an American space capsule other than a villain?
    2.) Jealous? You should(n't) be.
    - Getting to "free float" in space is nice, but no need for jealousy when it's short lived and ends in death.
    3.) Pay attention!
    - Chris is told not to stay out in E.V.A. too long.
    4.) Seems someone knows something I don't...until I know something they don't.
    - Chris and the others have no idea who is approaching, but once his communications are cut, it's possible he has a better idea of where Blofeld's rocket is landing, while nobody else has a clue.
5.) Ignoring or avoiding proper advice is never a good thing...
    - He doesn't get back into the capsule like he's told.
6.) ...but perhaps there was a reason for that.
    - The reason for this is because his communications may be cut/the interference has begun, adrenaline is running and he can't hear them, etc.
7.) In answer to your question: absolutely not.
    - "Does it look like it's moving past?" Absolutely not.
8.) Oh, just how wrong I was.
    - He says that the maneuver unit makes it easy to get out, but it doesn't help with getting back in.
    9.) Unfortunately, I don't believe we will.
    - He is told he has plenty of time in the other E.V.A.s to experiment, but alas, he doesn't.
    10.) "...does it do anything?"
    - Harking back to the maneuver unit, which doesn't help him at all like previously believed.
    11.) I bet you're reminded of Jaws.
    - Not Jaws the character, but the movie, as Blofeld's rocket opens like a shark and swallows the capsule whole.
12.) I'll be the greatest hide and seek champion there ever was.
    - Lost in space? Nobody's finding him.
13.) We could trade, but there may not even be a point.
    - Trading with the other astronaut would keep him from dying in space, but at that point, there was no telling who was stealing the capsule and what would be done with the other astronaut.
14.) My early tryout for an Oscar winner. Did I get the part?
    - Floating around in space like Sandra Bullock in 'Gravity.'
15.) I see you but I don't think you see me...
    - He is told that he passes over the Hawaii station, so while he can see them...
16.) ...and I'll keep it that way.
    - ...they definitely won't see him, as he floats further out.
17.) Judging by this performance, would you think this was my first time?
    - Chris is given instructions a few times, isn't terribly helpful in his dialogue, and can't even manage to get back into the ship in time.
18.) Sean Connery had something that would've really came in handy.
    - The jetpack could've proved useful as he got further and further from his capsule.
    19.) Incertitude can be deadly.
    - Hesitating led to Chris' death.
20.) Experiencing deja vu? You will.
    - Another hijacking takes place later on in the film.
    21.) I hate gadgets.
    - (made this one a while back, don't even recall now. What a great clue. Believe it had to do with the manuever unit he mentions, you can tell I was milking this thing dry for clues.)
22.) You did your job, then neglected me.
    - Blofeld steals the capsule, but doesn't bother with Chris.
23.) Looks like I'll do the complete opposite of what you told me.
    - "Don't stay out too long."
    - *stays out forever*
24.) Maybe I'll become best pals with a particular Bond villain one day...someday!
    - As @pachazo discovered, both he and Hugo Drax are left floating alone in space.
25.) Wait, what did I do the last time, then?
    - Again, the maneuver unit, asking how he managed to get out last time.
26.) I thought I knew what was going to happen, until I joined the guessing game.
    - He is inevitably left clueless as to where the rocket is heading.
27.) Even if I took a bathroom break, would it have mattered?
    - If they had launched just five minutes later, would Blofeld have missed them, or was he waiting out there the whole time?
28.) My attempts to assist aren't working, I'm assuming?
    - It doesn't sound like the other men can hear Chris telling them it's another space craft and that it's opening up.
29.) This certainly wasn't as fun as they made it out to be...
    - Being an astronaut, who wouldn't expect it to be fun?
30.) ...though I suppose I'm in a very elite class now.
    - Not many people can say they've free floated throughout space before.
31.) A Bond villain had heard of me before, though I never got to meet him.
    - Christopher Walken has heard of him, due to having the same first name.
32.) Guess I'm not writing a book, either.
    - Was quite proud of this one, as much of a horrible stretch as it was: in TND, Carver jokingly tells Bond that maybe he'll commission him to write a novel, to which Bond says he would be "lost at sea...adrift," or in this case, lost in space, adrift.
33.) I may be a bit too ecstatic for what happens next.
    - He's got a cheesy, huge grin on his face before going out into space.
34.) Was it shock or stupidity that put me in this situation?
    - Harking back to one of the first clues, was he too shocked to be able to get back into the capsule, or was he not competent enough to reel himself back in in time?
35.) Suppose I wasn't alone in my despair...
    - The other astronaut with him is, at that point, certainly screwed...
36.) ...but I was the only one in a nightmare.
    - ...however, Chris is the only one left outside alone.
37.) Please don't cut me off when I'm trying to relay valuable information.
    - He is "cut off" from the capsule as he tries to tell his men more information, including that his line is cut.
38.) The next time this happens, it's not going down the same way as it did with me.
    - As stated before, the hijacking doesn't go the exact same way later on in the film.
    39.) Doomed from the start.
    - He dies right at the beginning of the PTS/movie.
40.) I would've been better suited helping out 007, instead.
    - Later on, 007 is captured because he accidentally tries to bring gear into the rocket. Chris may have known he shouldn't have done that, and would've been better off being kidnapped in the beginning and perhaps giving Bond that information.
41.) My failure and your failure yield two different results...
    - His failure: death. Blofeld's failure: blown up HQ and has his plan ruined.
42.) ...and yet you win and I don't.
    - However, Blofeld still wins by staying alive at the end of the movie.
    43.) Anyone else cold?
    - Floating alone in space would be freezing.

These clues were a lot better a day ago, but now that I've provided the answers to them all in one go, I realize how awful a couple of them are. Still, happy to have made a round last this long finally! @pachazo, over to you.

Excellent, both of you. As to clue 31, I would think more appropriate would be that Blofeld new of the astronaut(s), but Chris was dead and never made it back to the volcano base. He never had a chance to see Blofeld face to face.

That works just as well, if not more. I'm sure two or three of my answers are slightly different, there were a few times I'd come up with an obscure clue that I can't remember now.

    YES! I AM INVINCIBLE!!!!

All kidding aside, that was one hell of a challenge @Creasy47. You had us all stumped for weeks. I'm actually kicking myself for not thinking of him sooner. When @Thunderfinger guessed the president, it suddenly hit me.

Moving forward, give me a little bit to come up with something. Ironically, the character that I previously had in mind has very close ties to this Chris the Astronaut. I'd like to go in another direction now.

My plan is to have something up by Monday. See you then.

Alright. Let's see where this one takes us, shall we? This shouldn't be too difficult.
This character is from an EON film.

    1) I am a part of something bigger than myself.
    2) Time is not on my side.
    3) It appears that I have no interest in finding a solution.
