    No, that's not it.

An EON character with a name and lines of dialogue:

    1) Heigh-ho, heigh-ho, it's off to work I go!
    2) He's in no mood for your juvenile quips.
    3) You can't always get what you want.
    4) Well, it's all a matter of perspective.
    5) The brand on the list was questionable.
    6) A man comes. He travels quickly.
    7) You always were a cunning linguist, James.
    8) We have all the time in the world... until we don't.
    9) Magnificent view!
    10) My eyeballs are oddballs.

    11) A distinguished gentleman?
    12) He decided not to go back to the salt mines.
    13) There appears to be a shortage of the materials necessary to complete the job.
    14) Even though I've left, I can still hear what you're saying.
    15) It was amusing at first, but now I seem genuinely concerned.
    16) A suggestion was made to dispose of the evidence.
    17) Inviting the monster inside.
    18) A stallion sounds right to me.
    19) Regarding the above clue, think about a Best Picture winner.
    20) He's a real Renaissance man.

    21) I like to grab a tall one in the A.M.
    22) Perhaps I should've waited for Bond to leave before I said that.
    23) Wait a minute! He may not care, but i sure do.
    24) There was no response at all.
    25) I did exactly what I was told to do.
    26) They're probably going to ask me to leave soon.
    27) This character only appeared in one film.
    28) We never got to see my reaction, later on, upon hearing the news that...
    29) He called me by my first name.
    30) I carry on a long-standing tradition when it comes to apparel.

    31) He had the "precious" all to himself for a brief amount of time.
    32) There is something you need. Without it, you'd (probably) be lost.
    33) That's strange, as I haven't been baking.
    34) A lovely spot for two that's occupied by only one.

Is there a reason #27 says "this character" rather than "I"? I'm presuming it refers to the person we're trying to guess.

Yes, it is referring to the person you're trying to guess. There's no trick to it.

    Also, it's not Linda.

    Gemma, Mathis' girlfriend?

    Yes, that's right @Thrasos!
    It is Gemma from QoS!
I will start working on putting the answers together now. In the meantime, do you mind sharing how you figured it out?
Thanks @pachazo! Well, for one thing, all you other fine chaps (and any ladies) mentioned so many other characters already. But really, you gave us great clues, and just putting things together: grabbing a tall one in the A.M. and the "questionable brand"; baking/suntanning; stallion--she's Italian; "a man (Bond) comes. He travels quickly" and others. I looked up the actress and imdb says she was born Donna Lucrezia Lante Montefeltro della Rovere...quite a name. I'll have to get busy and think of a good character for the next game.

    Gemma (QoS)

    1) Heigh-ho, heigh-ho, it's off to work I go!
Mathis tells her to go work on her tan and she goes off to do just that.

    2) He's in no mood for your juvenile quips.
"Sorry, he's in a bad mood today."

    3) You can't always get what you want.
She tells Mathis that she wants his hands on her skin, but it doesn't end up happening.

    4) Well, it's all a matter of perspective.

She points out to Mathis (after he had been complaining) that since he was innocent, they bought him the villa and that perhaps he really owes Bond in the end.

    5) The brand on the list was questionable.
    "You only buy cheap wine."

    6) A man comes. He travels quickly.
Bond travels on the speedboat to get there.

    7) You always were a cunning linguist, James.
Bond understands what she is saying even though she speaks in (what I presume to be) Italian.

    8) We have all the time in the world... until we don't.

Gemma and Mathis. I thought the reference to Tracy's death might lead you all to it a little quicker.

    9) Magnificent view!
At the villa. It absolutely is.

    10) My eyeballs are oddballs.
At the beginning of the scene, she is the only one not wearing sunglasses.

    11) A distinguished gentleman?
James Bond has traditionally been considered a distinguished gentlemen, although perhaps less so in the Craig films. Anyway, Mathis tells him that it's easy to distinguish between right and wrong when one is young.

    12) He decided not to go back to the salt mines.
The line from FRWL when Kerim decides to attend to his woman. However, Mathis leaves Gemma all alone.

    13) There appears to be a shortage of the materials necessary to complete the job.

"And MI6 ran out of plastic?"

    14) Even though I've left, I can still hear what you're saying.
    She doesn't go very far.

    15) It was amusing at first, but now I seem genuinely concerned.
She was in a good mood when Bond arrived, but looks worried by the end of the scene.

    16) A suggestion was made to dispose of the evidence.

Mathis tells Bond to get rid of the pictures.

    17) Inviting the monster inside.
From Gemma's point of view, Bond is the man who took Mathis away from her.

    18) A stallion sounds right to me.

    An Italian stallion!

    19) Regarding the above clue, think about a Best Picture winner.
    From Rocky.

    20) He's a real Renaissance man.
Mathis is knowledgeable about many things. Giancarlo Giannini is Italian (so is the actress who plays Gemma) and they are in Italy.

    21) I like to grab a tall one in the A.M.
They are drinking wine, although I'm not sure if it's the morning. However... tall A.M. one = Talamone, Italy.

    22) Perhaps I should've waited for Bond to leave before I said that.
"I want your hands on my skin."

    23) Wait a minute! He may not care, but i sure do.
Bond says that Mathis wouldn't care when he puts his body in the dumpster.

    24) There was no response at all.
She wants Mathis' attention, but he doesn't reply.

    25) I did exactly what I was told to do.
She doesn't serve Bond the wine, although she leaves it out, and she goes off to work on her tan.

    26) They're probably going to ask me to leave soon.
Bond and Mathis. Plus, they will probably make her leave the villa now that Mathis is dead.

    27) This character only appeared in one film.
    Yes, in QoS, obviously.

    28) We never got to see my reaction, later on, upon hearing the news that...

    Mathis has died.

    29) He called me by my first name.
Mathis addresses her by her first name, Gemma.

    30) I carry on a long-standing tradition when it comes to apparel.
A woman in a bathing suit.

    31) He had the "precious" all to himself for a brief amount of time.

The name Gemma means precious stone. Mathis is with her at the villa for an undisclosed amount of time, since QoS is a direct sequel to CR.

    32) There is something you need. Without it, you'd (probably) be lost.
    The subtitles when she speaks!

    33) That's strange, as I haven't been baking.
Mathis makes a comment about someone having fingers in many pies.

    34) A lovely spot for two that's occupied by only one.
Two chairs, two towels, but only Gemma is sunning herself.

Congratulations again,@Thrasos, for putting it all together. And thank you very much for the compliment about the clues. I put a lot of thought into it and, as always, I hope you all can appreciate that. I'll pass the baton over to you now.

I like your clue explanations, @pachazo. I hadn't really gotten that about that scene until you mentioned it, that Gemma looks worried at the end. Deeper insight into the character, and what comes after. The "precious" clue is another great one. Thanks @Birdleson. A new character up shortly.

    An EON character

    1) James Bond and I were once very close.
    2) I only have eyes for you.
    3) Things change.

    Good luck!
