I had a feeling this was going to be a tricky one, but keeping working at it and one of you will get there eventually.

The whole scene is being staged to deceive Bond's enemies into believing he's dead.
2. Standard lies.
The Hong Kong Tiger Standard newspaper is on his table with 'fake news' of Bond's death.
3. I appear to have ignored the advertising and chosen a glass of wine instead.
His ashtray advertises Gordon's Gin, but he's drinking wine.
4. The Greene Planet fundraiser and this moment have something very real in common.
The appearance of a real date in a Bond film, since his newspaper is dated July 9, 1966; much like the 2008 date on the Greene Planet invitation.
5. Bang bang bang! You're dead.
A three shot salute is fired as Bond enters the sea.
6. I may have a twinkle in my eye, but it's impossible to tell.
The commander quotes from the KJV: "In a moment, in the twinkling of an eye". We can't see this man's eyes as his binoculars are in the way.
7. James Bond will set foot in this building for the first time many years after me.
The man is at the Hong Kong Royal Yacht Club, as visited by Bond in DAD.
8. The scene I am in was filmed in two different locations thousands of miles apart and then pieced together in the editing room. No wonder I can't see what's going on without some help!
He's in Hong Kong, but the funeral scene was filmed on HMS Tenby outside Gibraltar. Not even binoculars would help from that distance.

The whole scene makes very little sense, much like the 'assassination' before it. Bond's presence and subsequent retrieval is entirely pointless.
