I believe that this is the first time that we see a snake encounter, but we do see it again with Bonds encounter with Drax's pet python.
2. A diversion helps me get closer
Whisper delivers the champagne which allows me to get out of the tub area and closer to Bond

Bond doesnt know I'm here until he sees me in the mirror.

I enter through a slot in the tub area which isnt particularly standard for a snake.
5. I'm a victim of some improvisation
Bond kills me with a fire combo with aftershave and his cigar.
6. I'm not fast by any means
Im not. It takes me awhile to get from the tub to the floor.

Bond has rumbled him with a phonecall before he even gets into the car.

He presumes the car following them is Jones's friend, when we know it's Felix.

There's a glaring continuity error when Connery grabs him with his left hand and also punches him with his left hand.

Bond quips he's a nervous passenger. By the time Jones is a passenger in the back seat, he's dead.

He kills himself. Annabel the photographer later won't speak even when her arm is twisted, and Bond wonders who makes people so scared.

Dr No's words could describe Jones's feeble attempt to get the gun from the glove compartment.

"Mr Jones" sounds fake, the car is stolen, he's not really from Government House, etc.
