Really? That would be a nice cheeky trick of Max. I guessed him last round.
Tiffany Case?
Haha ... missed a trick there! Maybe next time! 😉
The clues are as follows:
The usual, shaken not stirred.
...Cheers!
(Mei-Lei prepares Bond a martini, shaken not stirred. He then makes a toast to Operation Grandslam)
You’re on your own next time.
(When Bond boards the JetStar again at the end of the film, Mei-Lei is nowhere to be seen, despite Felix telling the stewardess to prepare liquor for three)
Bond may have seen the real me on his night off.
(Mai-Ling also starred in Call Me Bwana, the cinema poster for which appears in FRWL)
I’m close to suffering a split personality, it’s all a bit meta.
(The actress’ name - sometimes credited as Mei-Ling - is very close to the name of the character she plays)
Don’t call me Tom!
(You could accuse her of being a Peeping Tom when spying on Bond in the bathroom!)
Accidents do happen!
(Mei-Lei informs Bond his attaché case damaged when examined)
We are on our way to becoming good friends.
(The plane is on its way to Friendship Airport, Baltimore)
I’m not a fully qualified spy yet, but I take my work seriously.
(Spies on Bond while he is in the bathroom - she certainly doesn’t give up easily)
Bond lets me down gently.
(On landing, Bond helps Mei-Lei by opening the folding steps).
You will see the real me again in another film ... but with less clothes!
(Mai-Ling appeared as one of the bath girls tending to Bond in YOLT)
Congratulations to @Birdleson, the golden baton passes back to you!
Che-Che?
Good point. Looking into him, I never realized he had two other roles in the films, appearing as part of the sub crew in TSWLM and one of the waiters in LALD. Somehow never knew that was him.
Really? Blackjack = liquorice, I was sure I was being clever there! 😝
That could be it.
I've been sitting on one for a while now. Hope to have it up and going by tonight.
