Good guesses but despite turning Bond into a quiche magnet it’s not Stacey, nor Kamal.

Congrats @Tokoloshe2 it is of course the character that always makes me smile - the delightful Dolly from MR.

I knew it would be a very quick round without resorting to ridiculously obscure clues, but I noticed she hadn’t been played before and -with Moonraker my favourite Bond film - I couldn’t bear to let anybody else play her first!

    ShockedVigorousAddax-small.gif

    1. I need a great deal of luck, and I appear to have it
(Despite the space station blowing up, somehow she survives)

    2. Things might have been different if I was acrophobic
(Jaws is very tall - not a partner for someone afraid of heights)

    3. I want to help but you seem to be managing perfectly well on your own
(Rescuing Jaws from the rubble of the cable-car station, but Jaws lifts the wheel easily on his own)

    4. In this scene I’m mirroring another character in at least three different ways...
(When Dolly tries to rescue Jaws from the cable car crash she mirrors Jaws by pushing the wheel, brushing dust off herself and smiling broadly)

    5. ... And we are both wearing (different) accessories with something in common...
(Dolly has metal rimmed glasses, Jaws has metal teeth)

    6. ... And the outdoor furniture matches my costume
    (white tables and chairs)

I couldn’t resist putting in a clue about ‘bracegate’ next (‘Brace yourselves, I’m about to cause a major argument’) which would surely have given the game away, so you got in just in time! 😝

Thank you Max, another fun round. Curiously I interpreted the first two clues entirely differently to your intention... I thought her luck was in reference to surviving the cable car accident unscathed, and the acrophobia referred to the cable car location itself (she wouldn't be there if she couldn't cope with heights).

Anyway, a new round from me is on its way...

And on we go with another EON character:

    1. I'm having a really bad final day at work... but could anyone really have succeeded with this lunatic?

    2. It's likely I survived, but only if I got out of the building in time.

    Onwards!

    1. I'm having a really bad final day at work... but could anyone really have succeeded with this lunatic?

    2. It's likely I survived, but only if I got out of the building in time.

    3. There are many people in the Bond series who could do with my professional services, but this is the only time this career is ever mentioned.

    4. 16 times in 7 seconds!

    Incorrect:

    Lt. Orso (QOS)
    Samuel (MR)
    Stacey Sutton
    Waitress (QOS)

Ah shucks, I was hoping that would go on a bit longer... although clues I could think of were limited! Yes indeed it's the unfortunate Anger Management Therapist from DAD.

Clues are pretty self-explanatory so I'll just hand right over to you, @CommanderRoss . Well done.

Thank you @Tokoloshe2 ! It just clicked with the third. Psychologist was the first thing thatcame to my mind. That lovely lady didn't fit the bill, but she got me on the right track ;-)

ANyway, I'll be back asap with clues.

Let's see how far you guys get with:

    1. he just doesn't get it does he?
    2. at least one person agrees with me
    3. I'm a professional doing a job (and look the part)

    4. In this film there's something edible in the water
    5. And didn't we see the other guy before?

nope, not Hans, but thanks for starting this off! As we're on the new page:

    1. he just doesn't get it does he?
Bond even gets the 'who' and 'what' wrong.
    2. at least one person agrees with me
    Q
    3. I'm a professional doing a job (and look the part)
He's wearing his lab coat, and definately shows he knows his gold.
    4. In this film there's something edible in the water
That would indeed be Chew Mee
    5. And didn't we see the other guy before?
    Sheriff's J.W.Pepper's return.
    6. People in my profession are seen in more Bond-films
    Q's lab assistants
    7. My hunch sends Bond on his way.
    'Lazar?'
    8. A lot of measuring is going on
In the background you can see other lab assistants work with a measuring device.
    9. The calibre is not what you’d expect
    '4.2 mm' custom made.

    Incorrect guesses:

    Hans (YOLT)
Henchman who gets eaten by the shark
    Shark that mauls felix
    Vargas
