    Shot in the dark. Don't know her name, she appears near the start of From Russia With Love with Bond. She also appears in Dr No...I think. Don't remember her dying but worth a try.

    Not Blofeld either. I should point out, that in reoccuring person, it was the actor/actress in question that was in another Bond release, not necessarily the character in question. I made an error before with that or didn't state enough clearly and I apologize for that. So - this person (as themselves) appeared in another James Bond film, but played a different character for this particular round. Sorry again

    Yes, Meddings was in two Bond films, one was a speaking part (very small role, though) in TSWLM or FYEO I think. But I do think I'm wrong, this has to be a bigger character ...

    I won't be here to keep up with this later so, Meddings and Wilson it is not, Beswick and Baker and Gray also miss out

    couple more pointers to keep the interest

    #11 I was quite confident with my objectives but smiles were wiped off faces

    #12 I managed to get quite close to Bond

    #13 I was sliding to defeat

    #15 I was a part of golden opportunities for big game hits that year but my intended prize, as with the other, was doomed to failure

    same actor or actress, two different Bond films but different characters in each, and the hints sound like a henchman or henchwoman ...

    I hate that feeling, and I really stink at these contests. I do better with the caption contests. I LOVE Bond, I just don't have the storehouse of trivia in my brain concerning films, actors, characters. Sigh ... I'll make another stab at this later today, I hope.
