Pretty certain it’s the waiter onboard the Orient Express in FRWL.

Nice guess. Clue 4 seems to be the clincher, as I was reading them down considering your guess.

Well done! I thought this one might last a bit longer, but there you go. @R1s1ngs0n is a rising star here....

And the explanation goes as follows...

    1. My working place may be even more famous than those I serve
The Orient express features in many films and books
    2. I start in a different language, but nobody seems to care
The waiter speaks French, Both Bond and Grant answer in English
    3. I make sure I remember
He makes notes of the order
    4. Is it in bad taste? Well, somebody thinks so but I don’t react
Bond frowns at Grant ordering red chianti with Fish, the waiter doesn’t respond
    5. I’m dressed up for the occasion
    He wears his uniform
    6. We’re certainly moving forward
They’re on board a moving train
    7. I take my time the second time they call me
Both Bond and Grant call for him whilst Grant spikes Tania’s drink

    @CommanderRoss thank you, you're too kind :)

    Unnamed non-speaking EON character.

    1. I succeed where everyone else failed.
    2. I'm very well hidden.
    3. I'm a member of an exclusive club that includes, amongst others, Oddjob, Red Grant, Nick Nack and Mr. Wint...
    4. ...Capungo wanted badly to join that club but was denied membership.

    Incorrect
    SPECTRE ninja
    Sumo wrestler (TMWTGG)

The ninja in Tiger's training school that is from the opposition: he first disarms Bond, then puts out th knife in his fighting stick?
    -succeeds in disarming Bond
    - Is one amongst many ninja's, but from the opposition.

Sumo Wrestler in the garden? (TMWTGG IIRC)

Another excellent guess but unfortunately, not the right one.

We gotta stop meeting like this @Tokoloshe2 😉
Well done, it is indeed the sneaky dock worker who knocks Bond out cold.

    1. I succeed where everyone else failed.
Bond evades and defeats scores of dock workers, only to fall victim to this one’s surprise attack.
    2. I'm very well hidden.
    Behind some bag pallets.
    3. I'm a member of an exclusive club that includes, amongst others, Oddjob, Red Grant, Nick Nack and Mr. Wint...
Baddies who caught Bond off guard with a sneaky surprise attack.
    4. ...Capungo wanted badly to join that club but was denied membership.
Capungo, as we know, failed to get the drop on Bond.

Thanks -- it was Capungo that gave it away.

I don't have anything lined up and I only recently jumped in with Dr Wayne, so I'm happy for anyone to take it.

I can. I've got a character I'm working on now, unless anyone jumps in front of me in the next 10-15 minutes.

    An EON named character.

    1) I take part in a conversation.
    2) I'm a thinking person, but I can be emotional too.
    3) James Bond does something partly because of me.
    4) I'm in a scene where there's some witty dialogue.
    5) Directly because of me, some events in the film proceed as they do.
    6) My job or position is not the lowest of the low, but it's not the highest of the high either.
    7) Something happens in this film that also happens in at least two other Bond films.
    8) The conversation I take part in is about something important that could affect many people.
    9) The whole time you see me, I'm on my feet.
    10) People I'm with express differing ideas. (clue slightly revised)
    11) One person who's with us, a recurring character, doesn't talk at all.

    Incorrect:
    Admiral Roebuck
    Colthorpe
    Commander Carter
    Damian Falco
    General Orlov
    Jim Fanning
    Mr. Kil
