Jaws
Drax
1. Karl Stromberg- I guess I'm in the minority, but I love Jurgens' performance. His happy expressions and half smiles are downright chilling when you see the monster beneath. As megalomaniacs go, here's a guy that is willing to waste all terrestrial life to achieve his goals and has zero regard for even the people that work for him. Doesn't get better than that.
2. Francisco Scaramanga- I remember other Bond fans questioning the choice of Sir Christopher Lee before the movie even premiered because they typecast him as a horror actor based on his Dracula films. Instead, he brings the same look in his eyes he used in the Dracula films to convey a palpable danger when he has a contract, otherwise he excludes much the same charm and class of Sir Roger and is basically Bond's "evil twin".
3. Dr.Kananga/Mr.Big- Although I enjoy Yaphet Kotto and his character anyway, it's by default in a sense because I don't even remotely like Gray or Lonsdale in their roles. Gray totally lacks the menace of Savalas or Pleasance and Lonsdale has the most monotone delivery of his lines and lack of facial expressions this side of Lazenby.
HENCHMEN-
1. Wint/Kidd- A tag team yes, but "such class, such style". They kill with a great sense of humor about all of it that totally disarms their would be victim. Very unique as well because being openly gay was far from the norm compared to today. I remember the free TV censors editing the scene where they hold hands after killing Dr. Tynan and the helicopter pilot so that part wasn't seen. Their antics are a big reason why I can still find enjoyment in DAF.
2. Tee Hee- Another henchman with a sense of humor, but also physically imposing. Julius Harris plus Geoffrey Holder as "Baron Samedi" were perfect foils for Kotto.
3. Jaws- Despite being the most iconic henchman in the series short of Oddjob based on TSWLM, the character is completely ruined and utterly reduced to a joke in Moonraker. I would have put him on top if TSWLM was his only appearance, which I wish it was.
