I'm actually thinking that this will indeed have a wider release than I expected. I was watching a movie on TV today and saw two different TV spots for it. I hope I do end up eating my words and it gets released in many more theaters than I initially expected. If so, I'll be there day one.

It will be a long time before I get to see it, so yes use spoiler tags and thanks. But I do want your general opinions! I'm hoping to be entertained, some good action, but I don't expect a majorly great and serious film. Nor do I need one. I need Pierce to look sharp and play the character well. Looking forward to it, but it may well be half a year away for me.

Oh, very happy to know there is a sequel! Even not having seen the first one.
Just happy in general for Pierce. It seems he finds this character interesting. And thanks to the books it does lend itself to being a series of films.

I do hope the first one is a big enough hit anyway. I just wish everyone involved with this well - good experience filming and hopefully very decent finished films.

Now let's hope that the first one will do enough money so they won't change their mind. (There are cases in which studios change their mind for announced sequels)

True. But I think it should be okay; let's hope so! Then they can learn from things they may need to tweak for the next one. I strongly hope there is a second one at the very least.

I can happily say that the film will be playing at my usual theater so I will be seeing it the weekend it comes out. I'm very excited now. :D

I just checked the showtimes in my area and couldn't find anything on the film, so I'm hoping they have yet to update the showtimes for next week just yet. I'm really hoping it's released somewhere nearby!

I've counted 5 reviews on a Rotten Tomatoes so far...all negative. Let's hope that changes. I really want this film to succeed
