Ohhhhh the tears. I can't tell if he's steadying his aim or letting out a really, really big fart. Perhaps we'll have to separate Brosnan painfaces from fartfaces now.

I wouldn't have thought of that, Creasy ... er, thanks? No, thanks.
    I think it's a "squint" face.

That is one of the most dedicated and hardened squint faces I've ever seen! ;)

I think maybe Pierce was channeling Eastwood a little bit too strongly ...

like in an Eastwood mood, but also at that moment sat on a tack ... ;)

@4EverBonded, I think you have it spot on! The picture was taken the moment the tack punctured skin.

Hey, now you know that my love for Brosnan and his work is infinite, but some times it's just really, really hard to defend him. ;)

I love Pierce, you know that. I think bathroom humor was a tad too much, but the squint - well, a squint always reminds me of Clint. And it was more a squint than a wink.

I'm really happy that I will probably get to see November man at our brand new theater opening up this fall! Well, when the film gets to Japan, I don't know ... but I'll be there in 20 mins. instead of the current 1 hr plus. :-bd

@4EverBonded, I forgot you were getting a closer theater to see you this year, happy to hear that movie-going trips will be a lot easier for you! I'll be back at college for a second degree (yet off campus), so due to my locale, I doubt 'November Man' will release anywhere near me.

I'll probably have at least a 2 month wait. We shall see. I am definitely going and I'll have to avoid spoilers for it as soon as it premieres elsewhere.

I'm hoping that, since it isn't going to be a big movie, the Internet won't be flooded with spoilers from the film. But, since it looks like I won't get the chance to see it in theaters, I'll probably avoid this thread and the IMDB forum until it's out on DVD/blu-ray.

So this movie is from 2014 and not from 2004? Brosnan sure defies aging.

    Five weeks! I can't WAIT!
Marco Beltrami (I, Robot, The Wolverine) did the music.

Apparently the movie is not coming out at all in my country. Damnit, I'll have to wait for a DVD release and buy it online.
It's weird, even Casino Royale '67 got a full-dubbed theatrical release, I wonder why they won't do the same for November Man.

I love it so much. Pierce doesn't seem to age.

Man, that is a great poster! I like the tag line, too. Pierce does look badass and very much himself (which is a good thing).

From the snippets of footage, the trailer, the posters, casting, and the stills, I'm very impressed with what I've seen so far. I can only hope that the final film manages to amaze me just as much.

There are some lovely location shots, too. And Olga looks quite good, which is nice.

It seems to focus on both Pierce and the younger agent, but I'm hoping Pierce is the "main" character of the film. He has seemed to be thus far, based on the promotional work.

I think the film is set up for a series if successful. I believe Pierce's character would return. I think he is the seasoned older spy, but the younger protege may return, too. Who knows? I just hope it is quite good, not too predictable, has taken some good points from the books (have not read them yet, but I will) and does have plenty of Pierce in the story. I have a good feeling about this film; I sure hope it is done right. The shots are really gorgeous; it looks like the cinematography will be enjoyable.

Well Pierce owns the film rights so I'm sure it's going to be about him. :)

@4EverBonded, let us know what you think about the books if you get around to reading them. I've no clue what they're all about or which characters are central and reoccuring, but I'm guessing/hoping that Pierce's character survives in this one, which makes me happy. :)

    This movie needs better marketing.

If I wasn't Bond fan I wouldn't have know that this movie exists.

Also it seems like this movie won't be shown in my country. Same as Sin City :( Bummer :(

    Oh, good point, Murdock! :D

Yes, I am ordering 3 of them next weekend, Creasy. Maybe a 2 month wait, though. Anyway, I'm looking forward to reading these stories. I should have them read before I see the film (I need to find out when it will open in Japan ....).

How are you all finding out where this will be released?

Also, it's Wikipedia, so take it with a grain of salt (unless there are other, more official articles out there), but apparently, one of the producing companies of 'The November Man' is already working on a sequel:

"On 12th of June 2014, it was revealed that Sriram Das' production company, Das Films, are already working on a sequel to the film."

Well the film looks good, so I say at least plan the sequel now! ;)

I have no clue as to where to find out where the film is opening ... I'll have to do an internet search later, probably start with the actual production company.
