I'd love to see a re-edit of the trailer with the score from the CR or QoS teaser/trailer.

Maybe. I'll do it. Maybe ;) What'd you think of that?
  • I would love to hear the John berry James Bond theme in Skyfall somewhere......if approiated

Something I just spotted after watching the trailer in slow motion:
I saw Eve sitting down and holding a gun at the bottom of the screen as Bond walks across and fires two shots at around :41 into the trailer.

  • yeah you are right...good spotting. I will have to start watch trailers now in slowmotion!

I'm pretty sure all the trailers are the same, excluding one shot at the end, which differs between Bond and Patrice fighting in the water, and Bond fighting a thug at the casino.

The underwater fight scene is between Bond and one of Silva's henchmen, not Patrice.
To me, he seems to be the swedish actor Jens Hulten; MI6 reported his casting a while back:

@StJamesSt, that's exactly what I'm talking about. You make judgments on things too early, experience the thing you judged, you love it, and then you look like an idiot. I mean, personally, I think SF is looking excellent, and I'll be shocked if I go to the cinemas in November and don't enjoy it. But to show absolute distrust, disgust, and hatred towards an 84-second teaser? Come on. Give it another shot.

I was agreeing with you, you numptie. My judgement on the teaser, if you're interested, is I love it and intend to see the movie many times. I refer you to my previous posts.

Am I right in thinking that....
Albert finney's character "Kilcade" is a old friend of either Bond or "M", and when Bond is saying "Some men are coming to kill us, were going to kill them first!", Bond is talking to Kilcade at the Skyfall Lodge just before the attack!?
Judging from the clip that "Markettoo007" has lighted for us, showing Kilcade & M hiding in the corner as Bond sorts out the Helicopter Gun ship attack, Kilcade will turn out to be just that, an old friend or former MI6 employee who will help Bond & M, and most probably pull out from under his tweed jacket a H&K MP5 and blow a few thugs away in the process.....Great!? :-B

I'm sure some enterprising member on here could put together a fan teaser trailer for Moonraker using the same techniques as the one adopted for SF, and in the 100 seconds or so available make MR look just as dark and tense as SF!

    I seriously bet they could

i'm working on it just for fun...plus you asked ...so why not!...but how do I upload the video once i have finished it without putting it on youtube and then doing a link?

@StJamesSt, I didn't mean YOU, personally, I was saying 'you', in general, as in people who make judgments on that too quickly. Sorry for the mix-up. I understood what you were saying.

No sadly you can't. For pictures and videos they have to go onto some sort of sharing site first.

I'll be watching it tonight because of that! try to match the cuts with the music and you'll have the best fan-made trailer I've seen in a long time!
