Today the widest read Swiss newspaper released their very good Spectre review (posted it on the review thread). It's in German of course.

    20min.ch/entertainment/kino/story/James-Bond-ist-definitiv-auferstanden-18223440

There are 26 user comments on the online version. And now imagine my surprise when I read them through just now.

7 people praise Pierce Brosnan, 7 different people are very critical of the Craig-era, while QOS and Skyfall get mentioned negatively by 2 others.
2 praise Craig being the best ever, 2 others praise the Craig-era in general.
The rest is neutral or just looking forward to Spectre.

Review was ok, but he should not have said that box office numbers and popularity was declining with Brosnans movies. The opposite was the case.
PS: i'll gladly join you on the Brosnan Defence Froce

I think as fans we're more dedicated to scrutinising the actors moreso than average jo public. That being said, the Brosnan era wasn't being approached with the same sort of care that the Craig era is embarking on but make no mistake Brosnan was and is a very popular Bond and this was made very clear in one instance when SF had its royal premiere. During a collage of celebrating each individual Bond actor Brosnan got cheers just as much as Connery, Moore and Craig.

Here's a great piece of Brosnan news:

He's re-teaming with Martin Campbell for a new action film with Jackie Chan

If only this was still the 90s and this was a Bond film announcement....

Brosnan has definitely grown into that face. Now the pretty boy looks have gone he looks every bit the movie star.

Good on him. Still working and getting the audiences in. Good to see. One of the luckiest men on the planet. But then he is Irish.

Those glasses look good on Pierce. He should always wear them.

Great news! Though I guess this rules out Campbell for Bond 25.

So it's a Campbell (my favorite Bond director) and Brosnan (my favorite actor) re-teaming, but with Chan added (hands down the most impressive and enjoyable action star out there), all culminating in an action thriller?

    Six tickets, please.

Not at all, I know it's unlikely but I still hope Campbell provides a bookend film for Daniels era.

If Campbell has what it takes to direct Jackie, he can surely take on Bond again, no matter what his age.

    Hello Brozzernuts.

Has there been any news released recently about The November Man sequel? I've got more free time than usual in the next two weeks, and as I thought about planning to rewatch the movie I got interested in seeing if anything about part II had hit the interwebs.

By the way, sign me up for the Campbell for Bond 25 club. He's my top choice, for sure.

No news as of yet but Pierce said it would soon go into production on one of his appearances on the Jimmy Fallon show.

Yes, over a year ago. There should have been a hint or an announcement by now.

This is not important at all, but anyone who's planning to watch The November Man, can see me as an extra in this scene, which lasts only a few seconds:

I wrote about my experience from the filming back in 2013 in another thread:

Am I the only one here who appeared in a movie with an actor who played James Bond? B-)

Why is here so much hate towards Mr. Brosnan?
Reading the threads, there is always negative stuff about him. It's a bit discouraging.

Anyway, I like all 6 actors, of course Mr. Moore is my favourite, I love his tv series Simon Templar and Persuaders as well.

I loved Remington Steele and some of my favourite movies feature Mr. Brosnan.

Well Pierce is not your most popular choice for the favorite Bond however he has his fan base including me.
For me he is like a Modern take of Connery 's Bond with the exception of not hitting woman,m
Actually he was worse he killed them in cold blood lol.

But now speaking seriously Pierce had The whole Bond package juts like Sean Connery but with films adjusted to his times.

Pierce and Connery will always be my two favorite guys though ive have warmed up to Craig a lot and has gotten into my third spot in case can't have two actors as my number 1
