He did a personal signing for me for his book 'My Word is My Bond'...he put : To Barry and Hannah,Roger Moore'...Hannah is my youngest daughter.
He was very nice and seemed to appreciate me calling him Sir Roger, and I got to shake his hand...a week later I did the same thing with Sir Michael Caine' so that was a week to remember !!
Any link?
In that 1989 interview with Terry Wogan, Cubby himself says at one point:
"A good James Bond, we've had several of them. From Sean to Roger and now our Tim"
There will be eventually. Not yet, as far as I know
Enjoy .

Just found this also from today Sir Roger is a busy man at the moment .
He looks damn good there.
This man never ceases to amaze me,its one of the main highlights of my life that i met him, chatted to him,and shook his hand, let alone get a personal signed message from him....Sir Roger never ages,is as sharp as ever, still putting himself down as an actor (he was even more immense in 'Gold' ! he was brilliant in that),and WILL hit that 100 year mark...God bless you Sir Roger Moore for the joy and entertainment and showing me the real Englishman in all us Englishmen.
Templar and Bond ,you cant get better than that.
What a photograph that was though: Rog lined up with Gregory Peck, Frank Sinatra, Jimmy Stewart and Cary Grant. Some serious star power came out that night to praise Moore.
Sir Rog is one of the last of a vanishing breed.
While this is against protocol, I'm afraid it's too good to not post directly so here they are. My acting hero and his worthy successor.
Unforgivably, there's only one ridiculously small grainy photo of all of them (the last direct post shows Grant, Niven, Stewart, Sinatra and Peck in the same frame). Damn shame there aren't better photos.

Frank Sinatra's last wife was Barbara Marx, previously married to the youngest Marx Brother Zeppo.
I have a book of Marx Brothers interviews from the early 70s where Groucho is talking about Zeppo and Barbara and he defuses rumours that Barbara is getting close to Sinatra. Says it's all ridiculous.
Soon after she left Zeppo and hooked up with Frank.
And Ivanhoe.
Would think he's 70 something. Also His eyesight seem to be good for a man of his age. If I live that long 'eye' would be so nearsighted I could not see anything further than my arm's lenght.
God bless the man.
:D
That's great to hear. I know sometimes its not the person, but some jumped up agent or similar that make them rush out.
I think I will take one of his books to be signed rather than just a Bond photo, as my thought is he may be more willing to sign one of his own books ?
Bloody laptop wouldnt copy and paste.
