Dominic Greene has the upper hand here, though both I find are rather weak.

I vote for Koskov because he dared to kiss Bond.

Dominic Greene because he actually acts like a villain. Could you imagine if Roger Moore had decided to return for TLD and the cast was the same. It'd be the most light-hearted showdown in modern day action films filled with Moore's one-liners and Koskov's hugs and kisses.

This match is surprisingly close, more than I thought it would be!

Yeah, same here. With how bad many treat QoS I expected Koskovs across the board, excluding my vote of course.

Exactly, that's what I expected as well. I guess we have some QoS supporters after all! And what a way to support it too, in it's worst aspect!

Worse than the editing? Impossible. Even I will admit the editing was off key, but Greene wose? Nah.

Well you know, I forgot about that, so you are correct.

Koskov, in my books.

Greene feels like he's trying to be the angriest Prius driver. Not scary, not villainous.

Greene is a villain of our time. A normal power hungry man who caused a little chaos under the table, helped along the right dictators, and gained a living off that. I like those villains in the current time over the tired take-over-the-world types we've seen thousands of times.

Greene. He acts like a sick minded jerk and slimey. Both characters not the strongest but Greene wins this one.

Greene- 12 votes
Koskov- 6 votes

Quantum had a contract out for Georgi Koskov, and they sent Greene to eliminate him, which he did with the help of an axe!

Round 4: Fiona Volpe vs. Xenia Onatopp

CAT FIGHT!!!

Fiona Volpe! The original bad girl.

Both good choices, mind. This may be close.

Ooo close call

This may be controversial but I'm going with Onatopp. As "Overthetop" as she is she's still deliciously fun to watch.

Onatopp is so bloody annoying.

No, the winner is Fiona Volpe, the sexiest, most malevolently evil, and best Bond villainess to hit the big screen.

I've missed it, but for the record, I would've voted for Stromberg (as much as I love TLD and Whitaker, Stromberg is an amazing, classic villian), and Koskov (I think he's actually one of TLD's low points but I hate Greene).

Anyway, for this one I vote Onnatop. Imo the last really great, memorable henchman/woman. She's one of those brilliantly OTT characters like Oddjob and Jaws that the Bond series is known for. She's hotter than Volpe too.

What, @thelivingroyale? Mr. Kil didn't impress? :D

One of the things I can't stand about Thunderball is that they kill off Fiona Volpe way too early in the film. It's such a waste, because she is such a great character and an absolute bombshell.

In no way am I suggesting NSNA is better, but at least they got it right to keep Fatima Blush, the femme fatale, longer in the film. Fiona Volpe, should have continued to hunt down Bond throughout the rest of the film...

So I am tempted to give Xenia the edge simply because she sticks around longer...But Fiona is just the better character.

I like Xenia, but she should be in a Roger Moore film, not GE. Her presence in GE totally mucks up the more serious tone the film is trying to establish--a woman called Onotopp who kills with her legs? And this is supposed to be a post Cold War/betrayal story? Please...

Fiona

Just for the "James Bond, who has to make love to a woman and she starts to hear heavenly choirs singing". The spite that she throws his attack back in his face is great acting.

Onatopp was always a joke. A silly name to keep those who associate Bond with Austin Powers happy and quite frankly a revolting side to her character where she orgasms when killing. A third rate porn character.

Two great and very difficult choices? But i will go for Volpe for being the Original classy female villain!

And Pussy Galore wasn't a silly name? And Holly Goodhead wasn't a silly name?

Austin Powers didn't exist when GE came out - rocky mistake. Couldn't care less about the silliness of her character. Famke played it well.

I agree, but there is inaccuracy there, as the first Austin Powers film did not come out until 1997, so there was no way Onatopp was "a silly name to keep those who associate Bond with Austin Powers happy"

She's the kind of silly named Bond girl that Austin Powers took the piss out off.

I'm ahead of you JB :p

If you want to connect the (Brosnan) Bond films with Austin Powers then Mr Kil is the figure of fun. Probably the laziest name given to any Bond character.

She's the kind of silly named Bond girl that Austin Powers took the piss out off.

And?? Mike Myers loved Bond. He's said so many times. It was done in good humour. At least Xenia Onatopp sounds funny and is played with a certain relish, Mr Kil just sounds too silly. He doesn't even do anything.

Sorry about that BAIN, didn't see that. The credit is all yours!

But Onatopp still is a silly name. I'm not sure what they were going for there. Did they think LTK was too serious, so they needed something to bring the series back to what people associate with Bond, double entendre sexual innuendo Bond girl names? The name and character don't jive with rest of the tone of the film for me personally.

GE was meant to be a "greatest hits" film. That was the point of it. The seriousness of Dalton's stuff with the lightness of Roger's stuff.
