And, just for perpective...
Ah, that must of been very difficult for you, they do become one of the family.
Time to burn that comic book box I think.... :-&
Very sorry to hear about your cat Darth-- if you put her down, you did the right thing. I had to do that with our family cat, back when I lived with my parents. She actually arrived before I was born, and the damn thing lived to be TWENTY TWO years old!! I was starting to think she was a Highlander! But then she got really sick, really fast and we put her to sleep and took her home and buried her in our yard.
It was pretty tough because since she arrived before I did, I had never known life without that cat!
Tittersome that comment. You're quite right, though - that's a hell of a big, hairy cat.
Our cats are great company. One's selfish, jealous, paranoid and not very smart; the other's kittenish, friendly, fun and quite smart. Oh, and annoys the hell out of the other one. They could be in their own sitcom. They're basically The Odd Couple...

I too have had cats (and dogs) all of my life. They are part of the family for sure. My one cat lived to be 21. It is incredibly hard to lose a pet; but I cannot imagine my life without my pets. So much love. And humor, comfort, and fun.
The last one is her with her sister, Honey (my friend's cat; we adopted them when we were roommates. I love having friends that are also Bond fans)
A name to match your profile photo. Lovely. Your next will be named Solange, I presume?
That's not a bad idea, if I got another pet! :p It's actually my grandmother's name too.
How strangely amazing.
To say he's got us wrapped around his paws is an understatement. We rarely go anywhere without him.
Of course, we may yet see people posting pics of fluffy white cats that they like to stroke whilst sitting in a chair hatching nefarious plans...
Mine is an alcoholic too largo! ;)
I too was surprised at how long it took for someone to post a dog!
What a cool looking pattern @largo2! I immediately thought of this:
It's Rorschach the Cat!
Good god, that thing needs to have a date with a blunderbuss. It has to be possessed.
Here's one of my awesome cat again-- I thought he looked like a tooth
