It's an awesome flick. It came out 2 years after Enter The Dragon, and it's basically an American answer to a Kung-Fu movie. Except with stellar dialogue.
Wow! Their is certainly some directing talent around that dinner table!

5. The Hateful Eight
Note that his entire filmography is astounding to me, and I've got some unorthodox choices (some seem to agree that Death Proof and The Hateful Eight are his weakest, but I really enjoy them).
I did. Been about a year since I've seen it so I'm not sure if I'd still agree with that assessment, but it definitely ranks highly for me. Off the top of my head, it's a toss up between that and Kill Bill.
A film about "the Manson Family".
I think the latter two are who he was looking for to play Tate, so only one will likely appear. I'm hoping for the latter, but I figure he might go with Lawrence since she was initially eyed for The Hateful Eight before Jennifer Jason Leigh was cast.
Might have to rewatch that one this evening now that I'm talking about it.
I hadn't seen JJL in much but I'm not the craziest fan of Lawrence. I loved mother! and Silver Linings Playbook but she's pretty hit or miss for me. I love what I've seen of Robbie's work and think she could pull off a better take on Tate.
The biggest question for me is how Tarantino plans on interjecting his type of humor into an incredibly dark and tragic story.
