I’ve mixed feelings about this comic that serves as a prequel to the video game series and is a tie-in merchandise for the latest two releases. They’re pulling off a Spectre retcon on the entire Hitman mythology and some elements are awfully shoehorned in it. Although, the pacing is great for each of the issue, you don’t feel like you paid for an issue that's just short but contains quite a lot of narration rather than just demonstrating half a scene per an issue, which is the issue with Dynamite.
The art isn’t impressive and feels like a cheap early to mid 2000s artwork they used to provide B-level comic titles with.
The final book is the best
The second to last completed script by Jean-Michel Charlier was the only one left that I had never read. It s a good one. The artwork by Giraud is terrific as usual.
Hold Brillan no. 2. (2014)
Laymillie and Hermann 1967.
I was reading these and I really felt that if WB would have used these as templates, we would be hearing more about Superman now. These two are in my top seven Superman stories. Zack Snyder and company should be a bit ashamed of themselves. These made Superman relatable, and given us truly new villains for the cinema.
Richard Wagner's "The Ring of the Nibelung"by P. Craig Russel, excellent comic.
BLUEBERRY 25 OMBRES SUR TOMBSTONE (1997)
BLUEBERRY 26 GERONIMO L APACHE (1999)
All by Giraud.
It's best to read before bed for me. It was great!
