Hadn t read this since I was a kid.
I first read this at the age of 8-9. A European Flash Gordon of sorts.
A collection of comics from the 30s and upwards in celebration of Disney s 100th birthday.

2002
The last album Morris drew before passing away in 2001.
Funny stuff!
Nothing I have not read before, but this is peak Batman.
But as rich an offering as DC 1000 may be, the 80 YEARS OF BATMAN hardcover is an even meatier publication, with the first appearances of Batman himself, Robin, Two Face, the Riddler, Clayface, Batwoman, Bat-Mite, the Barbara Gordon version of Batgirl, and many other landmark stories as well. Just about everybody who's contributed to the Bat mythos in any substantial way is here: Bob Kane, Bill Finger, Jerry Robinson, Shelly Moldoff, Dick Sprang, Carmine Infantino, Denny O'Neill, Neal Adams, Frank Robbins, Dick Giordano, even an entry by the Steve Englehart/Marshall Rogers team and a long-promised, long delayed tale by legendary science-fiction/fantasy scribe Harlan Ellison.. But perhaps MY favorite aspect of this book is the substantial slices offered of the title's various back-up features. The Crimson Avenger -- from before Batman was even created! Slam Bradley -- by Superman's creators, Jerry Siegel and Joe Shuster! The Boy Commandos -- by Joe Simon & Jack Kirby! Air Wave, Pow-wow Smith, John Jones (soon to be known as J'onn J'onzz) the Manhunter from Mars, and even the Paul Kirk Manhunter by Archie Goodwin and Walt Simonson. Believe me, if you'd like a compressed history of comics in one volume, you could do worse than to pick up 80 YEARS OF BATMAN.
