I've got to admit, this illustration, along with her pose, is too much for me to handle. :D
I'd be very interested reading your comments, @Agent007391. If you decide to give it a go, I suggest you pick up the entire series. It's costly, I admit that, but there really isn't any point in leaving half the series unfinished. ;-)
@ClarkDevlin, interesting title you present there. Personally, I'm a huge Danger Girl fan. @MajorDSmythe talked about it on this forum a few years ago, got me curious, I bought the first series and by now I have read and re-read almost every DG story ever released in comic book form. I simply love the whole DG universe. So my standard in this genre is pretty high. Will I enjoy VSS? ;-)
and Abbey Chase (and what a grand pursuit she must be... ;-))
Which one is your favourite entry, @DarthDimi? Mine is a tie between the original and Revolver. Good Lord, the latter had Sydney at her best! :D Now, I wonder how Sonya's (Sydney's sister) uber-toughness would be dealing with...
They did attempt to do that with Kiss Kiss Bang Bang, but the entire run along with its storyline was miserable.
Favourite piece of DG merchandise? That would be a close call, between the 'Absolute Collection' which is a thing of beauty, and the Dragon Toys 1:6 collectors figure of Sydney (though why she is clothed as a cowgirl rather than her trademark catsuit is anyone's guess). I have the Abbey one too, but... you know, Sydney > Abbey. :D
I also loved the cold fight between Deuce and Sonya's employer, Veronica Fox. Deuce (who actually I believe is Connery's Bond by all means.) has really put her in her place. That Venetian Sequence couldn't have been more brilliant! :D
One thing I'd change about it is to replace the arrogant playboy Johnny Barracuda with a competent classy agent that doesn't do much unless he has to, you know?
Danger Girl (2005)
Natasha Henstridge :: Abbey Chase
Melissa George :: Sydney Savage
Timothy Dalton :: Deuce
Jena Malone :: Silicon Valerie
Jerry O'Connell :: Johnny Barracuda
Peta Wilson :: Natalia Kassle
Derek Mears :: Major Maxim
Jason Isaacs :: Donavin Conrad
Robert Englund :: Dr. Khanov Von Kripplor
Warwick Davis :: Kid Dynamo
The plot would follow the original series.
By the way, if anyone has ever played No One Lives Forever 2, did you spot the similar designs between the super soldiers and Major Maxim? Probably Monolith was inspired by Danger Girl?
Danger Girl (2015)
Scarlett Johansson :: Abbey Chase
Teresa Palmer :: Sydney Savage
????? :: Deuce
Dakota Fanning :: Silicon Valerie
Brandon Routh :: Johnny Barracuda
Kayden Kross :: Natalia Kassle
Tyler Mane :: Major Maxim
Vincent Cassel :: Donavin Conrad
Udo Kier :: Dr. Khanov Von Kripplor
????? :: Kid Dynamo
But like I said, my previous list is my preferred choice for each character.
At the risk of going way too un-PC, I believe Amber Heard doesn't have the - uh - 'chest' to portray Abbey. ;-) We need a good actress with a smoking hot body and some Darth Dimi thing going if you get my boldness. ;-) That said, I wouldn't have a name ready myself. ;-) Dare I suggest Scarlett...?
Obviously it's barely possible to imagine anyone besides Sean Connery as Deuce. How about his boy?
Johnny... How about Brendan Routh?
My favourite Natalia would actually be Kayden Kross. Granted, she's a porn star and don't ask me how I know her but she certainly looks the part IMO (https://s-media-cache-ak0.pinimg.com/736x/1c/ec/47/1cec47752e081669ddadc0e0681ebef0.jpg)
Routh, I don't know much of his work. But that image is Johnny.
I never heard of Kayden Kross either, but that pic has convinced me that we have found our Natalia too.
Update:
There, list updated. That's quite a cool cast there, if I may say so. :)
And I certainly hope nobody is doing too extensive a google search for Miss Kross - not safe for work, folks! :-)
Would we enjoy Vincent Cassel as Conrad? Just give him a thin beard and a moustache...

Another good call, @DarthDimi. Give Cassel an eye patch, and there's our new Donavin Conrad.

And I do agree, Darth. If they have to make a Danger Girl film, it has to be an un-PC movie with loads of fun as the comic was. Make a film for the PC audience, the mojo will be lost.
A Danger Girl film has to be soooo un-PC, you'd be embarrassed to take your wife or girlfriend to see it. In fact, subtlety has no place in a Danger Girl film. Of course in keeping with the tone of the comics we don't need explicit flaunting of the female curves, but the MPAA goes nuts over a bra or bikini top and we'll be needing lots of that in a faithful adaptation of Danger Girl. ;-)
Danger Girl, the MPAA's worst nightmare.
