Thats the cheapest place online aswell. I think these will go fairly quick.
Thanks for the reminder. Yes i will make sure not to double post. Yes, I made the mug myself. lol. Came out pritty good.
I have quite a bit of skyfall goodies to show, but how can i show them all without me posting loads. Haaa.
I know this isnt skyfall related, but just thought i would post it. This is what hangs from my bedroom wall.
I like that very much. I think I'll be keeping my eyes open for it.
I actually quite like the "lights and sounds" cars. There is something cheerful about a model car that plays the James Bond theme while flashing it's lights in time to the tune! I got the "slightly larger than 36" scale QOS Aston Martin DBS for a tenner at the weekend. I think I'd like the matching DB5 and Lotus.
Wasn't Corgi going to do "lights and sounds" cars a few years ago?
Same here! That is VERY cool!
They also sell a 1/72 kit here in the Netherlands, complete with 3 figures including a gunner :D
Next step is to spot and buy a Coca Cola thing and mabey a Heineken botle.
So here is the photo of the "giant" Omega/Skyfall poster currently in the center of Paris (alas in bad quality, I didn't have my true camera, it's only an Iphone, not good with the low light). It's one of these posters that helps to hide the work in progress when a building is being renovated, the idea that the money of the ad goes into the work there.
But here, the place is quite exceptional, it's what the tourist come to see on the boats on the Seine. There's nothing similar in this protected touristic zone. Even myself I found it is a bit "too much" to have this unique poster there, usually they would rather promote a museum, or jewelry, I'm pretty sure it's the first time I see a movie promotion like this.
I looked at the RC DAF Mustang linked earlier and its got a remote controled two wheel stunt feature. Looks like it can go on two wheel like in the film and also do a wheelie. Its a bit pricey though at £50 and Amazon is the only place selling it. I think its going to become a real collectors piece and I might order it when I get paid. Just wish I could see some videos of it but there is so little info out there on these cars other than the DB5
Apparently GQ has done a cover with each Bond actor. The shop only had Daniel Craig otherwise I would have gone for the Timster.
Might have to get one of these to go with the Q mug.

They all have to be sent back to the supplier.
Yet another sign of 2 finger salute to the fans out there by EON
Well, that's a neat trick
I've heard that one countless times at cinema's DVD stores, malls etc. So I just mailed the people responsible for the product once and they told me it was not true. Over the last 4 years I lost the advantage of being a cute little boy asking for it, but I gained some numbers of PR-contacts etc. who are responsible for such things ;)
Fair play to you - do not know where I would put a 6ft skyfall standee, but it is worth a shot
I usually don't bother with the huge posters and standees for the cinema halls etc, but I have managed to get 3 DVD standee's from Quantum and some small stuff from Casino.
My local cinema switches their views about once a month: Sometimes they are willing to give me posters (for instance: The Expendables poster), other times, they refuse. I was at the counter once, and one employee said to the other that the 'Dark Knight Rises' posters would be divided between the employees, so I guess that's what they mean with 'we got to sent them back'
By jolly, do I see the Thunderball-mania from 1965 repeat itself again? My eyes..... @-)
Sweet!
