I take it that's the creature they fight in the movie? I don't even recall what its name was.

JL on the other hand, yikes. I was either snoring through it or cringing, especially in any scene with Barry and Bruce; such bad, bad chemistry and deliveries on both sides. I feel like this Ezra Miller is going to be the Jesse Eisenberg of this film, a guy trying too hard to impress and doing too much over acting and fidgeting. I really shouldn't be liking the solo films more than the big team films, but it makes sense that I'd like WW better because it's a better creative team and doesn't have Batman or Superman in it from what I can tell, so instantly better than JL. God, never thought I'd be saying that...
And the absence of Superman in any of the JL trailer has me concerned that they're just going to make him a tool of Darkseid, which is boring and so freaking infuriating. I wonder when we'll get to see this Superman do anything Superman would do, or be even 2% heroic? That set photo was the only time I've seen Cavill get the chance to smile in the role for three years now, and that's truly sad.
I'm going to stay behind at the station I'm at, and let the hype train go on without me.
Wow Gadot is beautiful.
Even if the film itself is a total PoS, I'm sold on her and I think she'll pull a lot of the female audience into the fold.
This is one area where the much maligned DC universe has an edge on Marvel possibly (Quinn/Robbie too). Marvel don't have a big ticket female star / character yet (Romanova/Widow notwithstanding....and I gather she will get a solo flick soon too).
Still, I think DC has the edge at the moment, since WW will launch first and I'm sure Robbie is going to make quite a splash as Quinn (she so owns those trailers that I'm almost not even interested in the Joker).
Gadot seems to have really settled and inhabited the role rather well from what I've seen. It's interesting how, it seems that it's women that will save the day for DC. Robbie has already cemented herself as a showstopper and Gadot, who already made a lasting and positive impression in Bvs will under the stewardship of Patty Jenkins is going to help catapult things further for DC.
The cinematography for WW looks bloody amazing btw. I love how the beautiful and vibrant colours work well with the gritty nature of the battles. This is what MoS should have been like, instead of all that muted stuff Snyder went for.
I agree though, it's all about the writing.
Re: The JL group shot: Shouldn´t Batman look as badass as Jason Momoa does in the pic?
What exactly are you referring to?
I always thought of Ledger as a Grunge Joker. He's psychotic, but he's not theatrical like the others. This pop singer is doing a similar interpretation accept its more Punk than Grunge.
