I did see him reading how to have a casreer in acting by George Lazenby's former manager from 1969 soo that makes sense.
I also see How to run a record company by Richard Paul Rowe... uh oh.

Oh boy.
"Warner execs, if we only hired actors without issues, we'd almost have no one to work with!"
Don’t apologise.Gender is a fact and people who identify as “ non binary “ or “ gender neutral “ are welcome to their own delusions but they ARE delusions. You don’t have to partake in their delusions.
I stopped watching Star Trek:We hate straight white men in its third season when one of the characters insisted that the crew refer to HER as they/them/whatever.
I understand the whole "we're making our own identity now" thing, but at least keep things grammatically correct. ;-)
I don't even think Miller is all that great, I've thought they've always been a bit of a weird, uncomfortable presence in the films I've seen with them as the Flash. I'm only interested in seeing The Flash because of Keaton: the lead could quite literally be played by anyone else and I would be as interested in it.
Language has always changed over time, I don't mind change. Check out Chaucer's spelling :)
I feel the same. Keaton is one of the only things I’m interested in. It sounds like Michael Shannon is coming back as General Zod, as one of the villains, for Supergirl. God forbid we other Superman villains.
Oh I absolutely love Miller in almost everything that he does, from The Perks Of Being A Wallflower and We Need To Talk About Kevin to his role as Flash. It's his Fantastic Beasts stuff that doesn't sit particularly well with me.
Regarding The Flash, there's more that interests me than merely the cast. The story, for example, ought to be based on one of the best recent DC storylines. I love what they did with the animated version of that story and I'm looking for something awesome in the live-action film too.
The studio executives and the actor making a character comeback.
It beggars belief that they’ve made over 150 episodes of The Flash on tv over the last eight years but have struggled to put together a Flash movie all this time.
And really,Miller should have been fired from the role before filming began after that strangling incident last year.
This is because there’s a split between the film and TV divisions. The people who are working on the TV shows are major geeks who are almost given free reign on what they can do an who they can work with. The film division is much more chaotic, with a lot of people who don’t even believe in the source material but want to chase that Marvel money so badly while not looking like they’re outright copying.
They also have a very snobbish attitude towards creatives in comic books and television. That they’re “not suited for film business” so they only want to hire people known for films. Guys like Grant Morrison would turn in a script that would be rejected in favor of a script by David S Goyer.
It’s a pity. If they had just had the guys at DCAU like Bruce Timm and Paul Dini we’d have had a solid plan and lineup for a DC film universe. But that’s not how WB wants to play.
^This pretty much sums up yet another frustrating conversation I just had with a self-proclaimed "true" fan who can't get over the fact that Reeve has been dead for eighteen years and won't ever be Superman again. It took him less than five minutes to jump from "I hate Superman Returns" because they're trying to be too much like the old Reeve films, to "I hate the DCEU Superman" because they're trying to be too much not like the old Reeve films. I then proceeded to ask if he'd rather they never made another Superman film again. "No no, just close enough to Reeve but also different enough." Oh come on. Get over it, angry Superman fans. Reeve made two films worth watching, over four decades ago. He's never coming back, and neither is his Superman. The old red-white-and-blue Superman is as outdated now as '60s Batman is. I'm not saying people have to like the DCEU at all; I just wish they'd say so rather than try to find silly arguments to turn the debate into hard science, as some do. You don't like it, oh well then you don't like it. But absolutist statements such as "Reeve is the only Superman!", or "Superman doesn't emo!" reveal that some people are stuck in the past, trapped in nostalgia, caged in mortal fear of evolving characters.
Yep.Fully agree.I’d say the criticism goes back even further than Superman Returns.Superman 3 got criticism for having too many jokes and Man Of Steel gets criticism for having very little humour ( Though the humour is there,it’s just more subtle than MCU sit com humour ).
I'll just say it, I think MOS has heart, whereas S3 and QFP were buffoonish exploitations of Donner's masterpiece, neither helped by the fiercely cut budgets nor by Reeve's dried-up enthusiasm for the Superman role. Cavill's Superman addresses an interesting post-Watchmen theme: how do superheroes impact the world in all its facets, beyond the superficial layer of saving us from cosmic harm? And since it is often said that this is a "recent" trend, I will happily remind people that DC went there hard and heavy in the middle of the '80s, what with The Dark Knight Returns and all. I for one love this added layer of complexity--the fact that superheroes operate in a world of gossip, backlash, complicated geopolitics, polarized public opinions, media spinning and more. Zod wants to harm us, so Supes will step in, except that he rarely hits thin air; there's collateral damage with every punch this alien god throw at each other. At the very least, let this young Superman contemplate the consequences of his actions, the cost of his love for Lois, and more.
That’s nonsense. Nobody has TRIED a tradition Superman movie since the 80s to prove that a traditional film can’t work. I think why Henry Cavill hasn’t gotten a sequel is because he’s been pretty outspoken about wanting to do a more traditional and optimistic Superman film. WB doesn’t want to make that kind of film.
https://comicbook.com/dc/amp/news/henry-cavill-wants-superman-brainaic-face-off-man-of-steel/
Yeah we can’t go back to the 80s anymore. And Cavills Superman IS optimistic.By the end of ZSJL he has found his place as earths protector, and has a new extended family in the Justice League.
WB if they had any sense would have greenlit a new solo MOS film after the release of The Snyder Cut but no,they ( allegedly ) want to wipe out all the great work Snyder did with this Flash movie because they are idiots.
Exactly. That was an even less fitting time for the idea of Superman, but the filmmakers were able to convey the spirit of the character to the audience. Anyone with Superman's powers ought to be seen enjoying them, at the very least for the idea's immense visual potential--I loved how in the Silver Age comics he could whip up ridiculous giant-sized contraptions and props.
That doesn't mean a Superman film needs to avoid serious situations and drama. The animated series episodes "Apokolips...Now!" and Legacy" show how Superman can be put to the test (and through the wringer) but still retain what makes him Superman.
as for me the first Superman film and only one i have seen was Batman v Superman. sorry never got into the boy scout always preferred Batman...
I would like a Superman film to move past Luthor though...
in much the same way I will take any unused villain for The Batman (yes even condiment King or Nicholas Cage as EggHead he says he has brilliant idea for Egg Head lets see it)
