That's an idea.
You have a strangely irrational hatred for this guy. Did he shag your wife?
No, I just don't like him. Imagine that, right?
But you never rationalise it. You never critique his abilities as an actor, you just resort to calling him a 'pop singer' and compare him to Harry Styles, which makes you look like a child.
I'm comfortable with that.
I've never doubted that, just giving you the right to reply.
Thanks.
Particular moments I'd love to see on the big screen (if done well):
Batman sword fighting Ra's
Batman vs. Croc
Batman's relationship with Selena
Joker and Harley causing trouble at an opera
A lot of the plot of the book couldn't be adapted however, either because we haven't seen a particular character before and it'd be hard to create audience interest in them and their scheme, or it would overly pad a film that can only be around 2-2 1/2 hours. Hush is an ambitious story, and to adapt it right, you couldn't fit it into one film. It'd be messier than the theatrical cut of BvS, times 100.
If Suicide Squad 2 happens, however, and some villains set to show up in the Hush-like movie appear in it, that may be enough to introduce those characters before the Batman solo.
My dream cast:
I would love to see Eva Green or Morena Baccarin cast as Catwoman, Jessica Chastain as an older Barbara Gordon, Daniel Day-Lewis as Ra's (would never happen, sadly), Stana Katic as Talia al Ghul, Guy Pearce or Johnny Depp as Riddler, and Angelina Jolie as Poison Ivy (another that would never happen). He wouldn't go for it, but I think Leonardo DiCaprio could pull off Tommy Elliot well, if they were to go that route.
Yes. It's fantastic.
Agreed about the issues that would arise from trying to adapt it in one go. It might warrant a couple of films instead. Possibly The Batman solo film and Suicide Squad 2 could be directly tied together using certain plot threads from it. (Even if the solo film appears first, it could still be an idea as Batman will likely appear in as many films as Warner Bros. can logically fit him in to).

People need to stop. This article probably wouldn't have even come out if people weren't hating at DC/Suicide Squad at the moment.
There's nothing verifying any of it. Why do people keep posting guff? There are now so many blogs and media sites that any old dick can write whatever they want and because its on a blog it's somehow legitimised.
People will always complain. I remember all the negative reviews about "Casino Royale". Smh.
I don't know what more people want, I mean you go out and make your own damn movie it's not easy!
Wonder Woman looks really good but I will admit I am worried about Justice League.
"Now, we’ve filled this as a rumour as there is no verification that the writer of the letter actually worked for Warner Bros. or has indeed spoke with “insiders”. But, as they always say, there’s no smoke without fire."
This brings me somewhat to what I said in an earlier post about SS' 2nd weekend drop...
Sausage Party‘s festivities are cutting into Suicide Squad‘s business. While that film will pull in just over $13M for Friday, industry estimates have it at a $44M. If that figure holds, that’s a 67% drop, which is 2% higher than Batman v. Superman‘s -69% sophomore weekend drop. I hear matinees on Suicide Squad are down 93% and that doesn’t account for the $20.5M business the DC villain film did on Thursday.

Patty Jenkins has gotten pretty fired up on Twitter over this rumor:
Nice to see a director that's so passionate about it. I wouldn't imagine the film has been screened yet beyond the third or fourth pass stage yet - and trust me, every single film feels like a bit of a mess at that stage.
The film could very well turn out to be rubbish but I don't think the person who made claim about WW has any proof other than personal feeling at the moment.
I liked BvS, in that I enjoyed the spectacle of it all. The pacing was a bit laborious, but I don't ask much of these films. I want them big and exciting and I want to see these superheroes come to life, which we generally do get.
I am not a fan of Batfleck, so BvS I think worked as a decent Superman film.
Bale was so excellent in the Bat role, that for me Affleck doesn't cut it.
But I have a bias. I find Affleck and his pal Damon to both be real lame, which is why I don't like the Bourne films. Damon doesn't work for me as Bourne either.
Bat is much about the costume, aura and mystery, so I can pretend its not Ben Affleck inside.
Lex Luthor was terrible. The worst kind of cliched overacting. Awful. Lex was worst part of the film.
Wonderwoman was great. Gal Gadot's portrayal bodes well.
Caught Suicide Squad. Yes this movie is bad. It's almost too dark. There does not seem to be any light scenes in the film, as in literal light scenes. Its seems to have been shot entirely at night and in shadow and gloom.
That said, I am not sure what could have been done to save it. A bunch of bad guys fighting even worse supernatural evil. Not a lot of fun flick potential.
It did hold my interest though, but I can see why the general movie public will stay away in droves. Word of mouth will kill this film. There is not much to latch on to other than maybe the always entertaining Margot Robbie.
Wasn't impressed with new Joker. I'd like to see a Joker that isn't quite so creepy.
I got creeped out every time he was on the screen. I am thinking go away, or somebody please kill him.
Jack Nicholson got it right. Scary and entertaining. Same with Cesar Romero.
Although Romero was heavy camp, in a camp TV series, the Joker is a camp villain.
I'd like to see the entertaining Romero persona, applied to the serious Bat films, which is kind of what Nicholson did.
Jenkins' response to the open letter conveys that the DCEU may be in an even worse state than what we realise.
Is the open letter real or not? Who knows but the person that wrote it got under Jenkins' skin and struck a major nerve. If it were fake, she probably would or at least should have ignored it and let WB's pr/marketing team refute it and be done with it. Anyone who knows anything about PR will tell you, acknowledging a story gives it credibility. However, Jenkins felt compelled to post numerous tweets about it, declaring how untrue the letter is, calling it "misinformation," claiming how great the state of the movie is in, etc. This really isnt a good sign at all. She's protesting way too much. This was a clear reactionary response which she wouldn't be doing if this is all just a silly rumor that will amount to nothing. If things were looking bad for WB/DC, i think things are about to get even worse.
He won't.
I'll donate $40 to both Trump and Clinton's presidential campaigns if he does.
Try not to get too annoyed.
If he doesn't, just donate that $80 to my Paypal; everyone wins.
Except Brady, I suppose.
I see bad things happening box office wise...
BvS was dead after one week in Switzerland. SS may even take less time to die.
